Phyllis is now the Perez Hilton of Y&R? Real Homewreckers of Genoa City? Really? Well I guess its fitting thats the name of her gossip blog, considering she's had PLENTY of experience with that. Skank. Seriously how pathetic can she be?

How the heck can Nikki not know there was vodka in her drink?

At first I thought they may be playing Phyllis as a hypocrite who's deluded into thinking she's the injured party, but since no one calls her out on her behavior I think they're deluded into thinking she is the injured party. I always thought that since Sharon is suppose to be the "nice girl" she's not suppose to fight back. Some one should have called her out by now.

Abby is starting to remind me of Laurence Fishburne's daughter.

Im SICK of Phyllis' victim act. Its tired and old and it only makes her look like a damn fool bc she put herself in this situation. Karma is only now catching up with her. She's no victim and bitch needs to stop stomping her feet as if she is

Chloe's another one who's victim act is getting on my nerves. "All the guys I love end up leaving me." rolleyes.gif Cane and Billy were not real romances sweetie.

I did love Victoria's line to Chloe, 'Kevin should be thankful he is not a chancellor or Chloe would have forced him to marry her by now.' I just wish it came out of somebody else's mouth. Speaking of Chancellor men, are they ever going to let Chloe have a love interest who isn't strongly affiliated with the Chancellor's?

While I was watching Chloe being jealous of Billy's commitment to Victoria, I have no idea why Billy is so committed to her. What makes her more special than Mac, Chloe, or even Lily? It seems the only reason they are together is because the writers wanted a Romeo and Juliet thing with them and because the writers realized that they've already ran through enough love interest with Billy to last 10 years.

Why on earth is Mac so nice to Victoria? Victoria has been nothing but a bitch to her for no reason other than her own jealousy. Mac has reason to be pissed at Victoria.

    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
