Billie was fun, fresh, and completely different from any character that ever appeared on DAYS and that was largely due to Lisa Rinna's portrayal. She easily should have earned an Emmy nomination for the reveal of her father Curtis molesting her & his subsequent murder. At the time, she definitely lived up to the hype. The second run, however, not so much, though it wasn't really her fault- the weren't writing her as Billie & they made her a cop who constantly donned her unsexy uniform. Honestly, she really can't- in fact, it used to be one of her biggest shortcomings earlier on in the show. She does better now, but a lot of times, it's obvious they're using those fake glycerine tears on her. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is definitely her "emmy episode" too. Nothing she does rings true. The hyperventilating, screaming- its totally high school theatre. Terrible.
