It sounds like it could be either really horrid (especially considering Faustino has struggled with his career and is sort of desperate) or brilliant with the right writers.

I mean, in theory, the show was considered too raunchy back in the day, yet now it would all seem relatively tame. At the same time I think if they just try to repeat some themes/conflicts from the original show (like Al/Peggy's lack of sex life, No'Mam etc) I feel it would fall flat on it's face. They should however recycle the idea of this couple (in the original Al/Peggy) who've been married for a number of years giving incredibly [!@#$%^&*] advice to these newly-weds from the pilot. It would be a good place to start.

Not sure if I'd want a laugh track to it either.

This could be interesting, I do wonder if it happens if ABC would allow Ed O'Neill to guest on it
