June 17, 201015 yr Member Apparently Roberts is a Democrat. I wonder if MAB might counterbalance by casting Jon Voight as a homeless man.

June 17, 201015 yr Member Of course he is. You didn't buy that Republican bullpost, right? It's probably that Maria finds him haaawt and Rauch knew him so it's 2 + 2... That was a mere guess. That's why I said maybe he knows her... Eric Roberts is a Democrat. [Joy Behar]Who cares?![/Joy Behar]
June 17, 201015 yr Member LOL, bellcurve & Turner are making him look penniless. But how can he be when he has 12 projects in the works?! I'm not making him sound penniless, but what does he gain out of doing a small bit role on a soap opera? He won't get to show off any "talent", the pay will be pretty minimum to what he's used to, and since it's only a month, the scenes will be few and the general viewing audience will probably not even notice he's on. Yeah. Kind of like Madonna. Who has what to do with what I said? Though, I do miss her really trashy 80's and early 90's attitude! Mariah is trash, but lives in her own fantasy world where it's acceptable in her own mind of butterflies and unicorns, kind of like Maria Arena Bell.

June 17, 201015 yr Member I know. In a truly shocking casting move, Yahoo Serious is cast to play the head of BP, and Victor saves the day by parachuting in with the oil spill, and in the process, berating Jack (former state senator) for thinking the government should ever get involved.
June 17, 201015 yr Member Also the 189 credits on his IMDB. I'm pretty sure he didn't need to come begging to Y&R for a job. This is so far the only stunt casting from Y&R that I can say I love. And with every moment more so as the waterfalls of hydrochloric acid keep pouring in. He is just perfect for this. Though who knows how it might turn out. The show is obviously establishing a pattern and I'm guessing this is how it's going to be: primetime & movie stars and 'stars' of the month.
June 17, 201015 yr Member How do we even know he's close with Rauch? He was on AW for what, less than a year and then recast?

Kim Zimmer...Special Guest Star as Sassy, a pelican endangered by the spill, that Victor saves! Here's a preview clip from her first show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PO5ifLzLYiU

It was a simple linear progression from your post. Both are putting out garbage into the universe and are pretty much done. Bar a miracle.
June 17, 201015 yr Member Poor Kim Since Rauch is hiring old AW friends, can we start a petition for him to hire the divine Maeve Kinkead? Anyone? Anyone?

The show is obviously establishing a pattern and I'm guessing this is how it's going to be: primetime & movie stars and 'stars' of the month. More like hasbeens and C-list "stars" of the month (no matter how many "projects" he has lined up). No one can convince me that Eric and Sean Young are somehow primetime stars or movie stars, they were never such things even in the peak of their careers. They're not stars, but actors that have had some longevity on a very minimum scale. Edited June 17, 201015 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
