Your favorite ATWT moments through the years

Aww :( I understand.

Thanks. I'm working on something to show off my FNL love in my sig that I think is gonna look real nice.

Oooo ok.

ATWT's almost as bad as B&B in the "Maybe it's incest? Maybe? Maybe not?" category. I just realized a couple days ago that Andy is considered brother-in-law to both Tom and Margo.

I was watching an episode from 1993 where Damian said to Lily, "I was just talking to your Uncle Caleb," and she kind of froze and said she didn't think of him that way. Then he said that Holden must also be her uncle. It was so hilarious, I was surprised they even brought that up again.

Oh, thank you so much, RH. I want to watch the next episode. That was Julie in the last scene, right? And who was the guy with the gun (character and actor, if you know)?

Thanks again. That's one of the best clips I've seen in this youtube era.

I don't recall who the guy or actor is but he was involved in the whole Carolyn Crawford murder mystery.

That is Julie at the end of the episode. She went to the church to tell Holden that Aaron was his son. In the following episode Julie gets out of the limo but doesn't tell Holden or Lily about Aaron.

No, Iva married Jason much later. Around the time Julie got pregnant, Iva and John had started dating. (rumor had it that Lisa Brown and Larry B were dating as well, btw...) Somewhere in this mess, Andy started taking care of Julie and eventually claimed to be Aaron's father. I forget how Iva found out, but eventually she agreed to adopt the baby. Iva and John hit the skids when he found out and realized Iva had been lying to him for a long time.

I was so upset when Holden took Aaron from Iva. Then Iva left town not long after this. It was one of the big things which started detaching me from ATWT, not only because I thought she loved Aaron and did what was best for him, but because Holden then proceeded to dump the child off on Emma for ages before he finally dumped the child off on Julie, mother of the year.

I often wonder if Marland had Iva give birth to MJ to somehow make up for the likelihood that she would lose Aaron when the truth came out. I do believe that if Marland had lived, Holden would have been a better father. Or I hope he would have anyway. I think the Holden brain damage story was one of his few major missteps as a writer. I was not a fan of Felicia Behr's era of the show but I think that she made the right decision in quickly reversing Holden's brain damage and also in making him friendly with Lucinda.

There's a cute scene here between Iva and John:

My favorite moments? Just to showcase a couple:

Halloween 1992, a few of these episodes later appeared on WOST with the full aftermath too:

My favorite story, god I loved the summer of '95 on ATWT between that, John vs. Lisa, and Lily vs. The Grimaldis...even Carly vs. Julie! Shawn Christian was so hot...

Are you serious about Holden and Lucinda? The show lost its greatest source of dramatic tension when they took those two out of opposition to each other. That was one of MADD and company's most egregious offenses. Replacing AR-T with Susan Batten wasn't nearly as loony as making Holden and Lucinda buddy-buddy (Hucinda?). I literally used to think of Mr. Marland turning over in his grave when those awful ABC women came in and destroyed what he had so lovingly created.
