Marcy Rylan is such a grating actress! Geez! It showed how low budget GL had gotten in those final days that she was considering such an important part to that show. Soooo annoying and the writing is idiotic. It's the same as before, she's simply 30 and played by a slighty better actress. Still an airhead with more of a Lizzie Spaulding flair.

Billy and Victoria continue to impress, but again, writing is horrendous and the writers are trying too hard to make it work. When they're doing nothing it works, but when the writers try to be "cute" the acting gets hammy and over the top.

Overall, I'd say the show is better than it was a couple months ago. It has potential. I do like the combination of characters featured a tiny bit better, but still it has a long way to go. And as always with MAB, the execution is terrible.

I still wonder where those black people are and whatever happened to Malcolm's fiance.

ETA:

How could I make one of my few posts and not mention nuHeather? Is she working for anybody? E

Has this show done any resarch or do they make up sh-t as they go along. If someone has bone marrow transplant than their DNA automatically transforms to that of the donor? What happens to their originally DNA? This show makes no sense

No you weren't! Seeing Phyllis's shark-eyed, eager-beaver face pressed up against the door was  Even after Patty started screaming and lunging towards her, the red-haired twit STILL wouldn't move out of eyeshot!

Somebody tell me WHY she insisted in going up there with Nick when she knew her presence would provoke a reaction. Was she afraid Nick would shtupp Pattycakes if she wasn't around to rein him in?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Tuesday's show was actually... enjoyable.

Was that a chemistry test for Emily & Michael? And Emily & Paul? Hmmmm. Wonder if Y&R would go there? What am I saying? Of course they'd go there.

One thing's for sure: Prozac Patty won't be undergoing surgery again to look like Jill in order to get close to her and Jack, because that would mean giving Jess Walton more airtime, and we can't have that, can we? ;-)

I felt ill just reading that. The more the writers have to write the 'love of a lifetime' into the dialogue, the more it seems to mean that the actors have trouble selling it. They can't act it out, so the writers have to remind us that they are supposed to be perfect for each other. All I see is a pinhead Newman heir and his latest conquest. Nick and Phyllis have sexual chemistry, but nothing beyond that, IMO. There's no real friendship, and they're not even likable when they're together. Everything is about defending their relationship and forcing themselves to stay together.

Getting rid of the doppelgangers helped a lot. You're right that there is some potantial but overall the current stories do not peek my interest very much: I lOVE Emily O'Brian yet Jana's story leaves me dry and cold, like Stephen Nichols yet his Ashley thingy is ridiculous and I hate Tucker, then there's the awful Nick in prison story and nothing much else on the forefront.

I COULD like Billy & Victoria even with Heinle, yet most shows feauturing them are written by this awful AMC reject (wonder why Beall's scripts are - apparently - suddenly no longer edited!?), hence their dialogue is cringeworthy. And even if this happened some weeks ago: the Jamaican wedding with that token black couple!? What is this: 1981 General Hospital??? Write a proper story for Neil, Olivia or even Malcolm (his involvement with Tucker is so far as ridiculous as Lily's wigs), damn it!

Amen!

Jana: I wish I could feel something. Why can't I feel anything???

Me: Can you feel this?

(Khan stabs Jana in the eye with a fork. Multiple times. CLOSE ON JANA, and she crumbles to the floor. Not feeling anything, as usual.)

It was a nice surprise to see Mac/Katherine and Esther/Chloe interactions. Thought the show forgot that these people were related.

Hopefully Jill will fry Tucker in whatever her plans are.

This Lily cancer storyline would be better if there was an actual chance that Lily may die, Devon is more likely to die than her. No matter how many times they tell us she may die, we all know she won't. It would be nice if they put less makeup on Lily, it's distracting. Especially the lipstick. If I didn't know any better I would say there was a chance that there may be a Lane/Mac triangle. The writers don't want to risk anything that might piss off the Lane fans.

Chloe called out Billy on his declaration to change his ways on News Years Eve was great but of course Billy counteracted with Chloe's attempt to trap Cane into marriage despite the fact that he knew he was Delia's father and didn't say anything right away. While I think she got off to easy for that stunt, she's grown more than Billy has. I can't by Billy as a good father. He's more of the irresponsible fun parent you see on weekends.

Glad JT told Victoria that while he has done bad things, they were done before Reed was born. I'm relieved that JT didn't do Tucker's dirty work for him and use Victoria's behavior to justify it. It's nice to see JT try to be a good example to Reed and not just tell everyone that he is. Hopefully his lapse of judgment at Victoria's house won't come back to bite him.

Billy and Victoria aren't so bad when the writers don't try so hard to make them sexy and Victor is not involved. I get that they are going for an Abbott/Newman Romeo and Juliet kind of thing, but it's a little stale. A marriage/relationship between an Abbott and a Newman is hardly something new. There's been Ashley and Victor, Jack and Sharon, Jack and Nikki, and now Billy and Victoria. All we need now is for Traci and Nick to get it on for the circle to be complete. Trying to pit them against their exes won't help since the exes come off as sympathetic. This would be better for me if it was about Victoria falling for Billy but resisting because she knows it's out of character for her rather than a love/hate relationship.

Glad there was one episode where Billy and Victoria didn't do it. Now if only Amelia Heinle would comb her hair everyday.

They don't care about any past Newman/Abbott stuff because in their eyes Chompers is the only Abbott who counts.

The only entertaining thing about Chloe being in this story is that it reinforces just how ultimately worthless and empty the "Chilly" relationship was. I notice that some of the sites like DC which loved "Chilly" now love Bacteria.

So, soon we will see
