BROOKE. ENGLISH. First name that came to mind. Whether it was Erica, or especially Adam, Brooke is my favorite soap slapper. She'd purse those lips and put her rear deltoid into it.

Another favorite is when Alex slapped Roger at Nick and Mindy's engagement party and Roger backhanded her. Marj Dusay loved that moment too.

Dominique served Alexis some powerful, elegant slaps as well:

As far as sparring partners go, Krystle and Alexis had nothing on Dominique and Alexis!

I've never seen that before. That was straight up "Is Angela Hubbard gonna hafta choke a bitch?"

As cheesy as it is, I've always loved this Sami/Carrie slap. Mainly because Sami is such a bitch before Carrie delivers it.

SAMI: "I got Austin into bed. I got pregnant with his child. I ruined your first wedding. I ruined your second wedding. I'm ruining this annulment. I'm ruining your career. I'm ruining your reputation. So basically, the only day that you'll come out ahead of me... is the day you bury me."

CARRIE: "That day may come sooner than you think. You're nothing but an evil little lying SLUT!"

I also love this one. It's cheesy as hell, but it's still delicious. I think I just enjoy watching Sami get physically assaulted.

Didn't Brooke slap Adam on AMC when she found out he had impregnated Dixie at the boathouse?

Most soap slaps these days don't actually seem to make contact, they're just a silly little noise added in later on. I'd love to see some sort of Anatomy of a Slap and hear Debbi and Stephanie Gaschet talk about agreeing to actually let Debbi push her head against the door.

That last Dominique/Alexis clip is great, that was after Joan started using doubles though, wasn't it? Still, great. In the few moments where they gave her a chance Dominique was one of the best things about Dynasty, along with other demigoddesses. They were the main reason to watch the show.

I agree that bitch slaps and catfights have basically evaporated from soaps. It is a crying shame and I miss the good ol' days. B&B is the last bastion of that kind of fun.

Joan always used doubles. From her first episode to her very last, she used doubles for anything that she didn't feel 100% comfortable with.

Collins and Flannery are two of the greatest slappers that soaps have ever seen and what their slaps have in common is that they appear to connect with face. And they never take those big winding shots like Susan Lucci does, their slaps are just a whole other level of realism.

Oh, I thought Collins only started body doubles after one fight with Linda Evans got too tough.

I remember something about the first time Brooke slapped Stephanie, in that I think Susan Flannery wasn't expecting it and was a bit shocked.
