This is great news! LOL! It was about time they fired her, she was dreadful. I wonder if DAYS will recast the role. If they don't, the only person left for Will to go to is Gabby. *cringe*

EXCELLENT news!

She's got to be one of the worst young actors to ever grace my television screen.

Taylor is young and she can always improve her acting. Good luck to her!

I don't mind Will, Chad, Melanie and Gabby's acting. They are not terrible at all. Like I've mentioned before, Molly just need to step it up when she's delivering storng dramatic materials.

I'm really enjoying the actors portraying Gabby and Will. DAYS should pair them together.

I could care less about Chad though. I find him to be very boring. Of course that's not the actors fault.

Oh God she was still on the show? I seemed to have forgotten her...OR maybe I just got BORED watching her be BORED on camera and blocked her out?

I hadn't seen Mia for awhile so I had forgotten that she existed. I don't like people to lose their job, but I won't miss the character. Like others said, I won't mind if the actress who plays Melanie was next out the door.

Mia didn't really bug me until the non-writers made her, out of the blue, into a jealous harpy fighting over boring boys. I thought she carried herself well enough during the babyswitch story.

I was also secretly hoping it was that shrieking ham Melanie that was being let go.

Best casting news in a long time for Days.

Now if only Molly would go. Not that she's bad. Well, she's far from good, especially when it comes to dramatic scenes. But its becoming the Melanie show.

I bet fifty bucks that she's going to get a scene in which she's grieving about Alice, lamenting over the "good times" when she made donuts with her. I wouldn't put it past TPTB.

I feel like it's been the Melanie show since the day she appeared. I think the icing on the cake was when even VICTOR was spending scene after scene talking about "Melanie Layton." That's when I knew she was officially the Succubus That Ate Salem.

Eh Mia was ok but Spreitler always was too chilly for a girl who we were suppose to sympathize with. Meh it depends on what day it is if I can take Melanie or not, lately she's been on too much. Which is why I had hoped that Chad would be Carly's kid. Melanie is good for humor, not drama.
