April 9, 201015 yr Author Administrator DAYS fell again, GH moves ahead. Y&R still above 5 million - demos still strong.
April 9, 201015 yr Member Now that days was renewed the numbers continue to slip. Thursday's numbers are bad. I was expecting ATWT to have big numbers on Friday. I guess Good Friday was a good to day to go out of town. I know I did....lol. But parts of Thursday and Friday's show were great!! I hope the show gets a boost for this week. Glad to see B&B drop. It is a dreadful show.
April 9, 201015 yr Member Looking at the daily ratings, it looks like what really caused DAYS to fall was Friday. They just barely beat ATWT that day. What happened on Friday? Jesus died.

April 10, 201015 yr Member I'm not surprised DAYS is going back down. I find the show hideously boring, and the new stories they're setting up like Daniel/Carly/Chloe suck and have very little promise or interest from me. I also think they've milked the Sami and EJ dynamic as much as they could, it all just feels like a boring re-thread now. Added to that, this show needs to stop thinking Melanie is some type of lead character, she's fine in moderation, but she's not lead material. Edited April 10, 201015 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
April 10, 201015 yr Member We're back! Now I think it is time to worry about Days. It has having major losses in overall viewership and in the demos. GH has regained the overall viewers that it lost from last year. All My Sonny has helped GH's 18 to 49 women demos over the last two weeks.
April 10, 201015 yr Member how the heck did OLTL gain so many viewers when its so horrible? Hostage crisis and hysteria I guess. I did a double take when I saw just how much OLTL and AMC lost over the past year. OLTL has a long way to go to get any of that back. I'm surprised GH has -- I guess people really will turn out for Sonny if you show him. I have to admit that they have expertly written a story that nullifies his years of bad parenting and paints him as a martyr for putting up with his daughter and her lies. And they add in yet another hit and run, which, judging by the numbers for when Claudia was in a car crash last year, bring in the numbers.
April 10, 201015 yr Member It's alarming to see 5 of the soaps lose nearly 300K viewers YOY. I feel like these viewers just dropped off within the last month. Where did they go?

These repetitive car accidents make me roll my eyes, but the audience tunes in.
April 10, 201015 yr Member These repetitive car accidents make me roll my eyes, but the audience tunes in. Yeah I agree. How many car accidents do you need on one show Doesn't GH have the most car accidents. People in Port Charles must be some very bad drivers Is that all they can come up with to get viewers to tune back in. I mean come on now
