The only parts I like in RHONJ are the scenes of Tre with her daughters, even her husband had a cute scene with Gia recently. What girl or boy wouldn't be embarrassed at 11 or 12 of their parents? It's relatable and what the original RH franchise was built on. I read that was one of the reasons Dina wanted to quit because she was sold on the premise of family and figured they would show the families together having fun, etc. In fact, a lot of the season 1 bonus material featured a lot of Dina with her daughter, sister, and Teresa as well as by herself.

Rosie doesn't bother me that much and at least she made progress with TreApe.

Melissa and Joe need to learn to make sure that their children are gone when they discuss family. I feel for that adorable Antonia.

Kathy, who I love, needs to get a grip. This whole thing with Rich is a ploy for camera time. As a fan, I'll even admit that. The fans are savvy when it comes to whose desperate to create story and who doesn't.

I can't wait for Tre v. Jacqueline next week.

In the words of Nene, the show is

September.

No. Last night the only thing I even watched was Tre and Rosie's argument. I didn't bother to try to catch a repeat to see the rest.

This season of New Jersey is a total bust. I thought last season was a stretch, but this is truly abysmal. I hope Bravo doesn't end up ruining these franchises by not knowing when to move on. They never seem to get it right. They messed up NYC, the ATL reboot was a ratings success and then with MIA they did a good reboot, but dropped two interesting housewives for no reason. With NJ it's like the show lives in a bubble and they don't even try. They should've been like Orange County and had one new housewife in season 4 and then another one for this season. You need a new perspective in order for the show to grow. It's going to continue to be the same exact storylines unless there is somebody new to bring a new perspective to things. And Kathy is just useless on every level. I feel the same about Jacquline, but many seem to enjoy her...

I think Jacqueline is the only one with an original storyline. Everyone else is more of the same. I hate how everyone is so consumed and involved in Teresa and Joe's problems. Jac at least has her own issues to deal with and Im liking that she's allowing herself to open up and share such a personal struggle with dealing with her son. Its a good storyline for her.

Just saw the episode and again why is Rosie getting involved? Teresa does not think about Kathy. She is irrelevant to her. She doesn't badmouth her, she doesn't attack her, she doesn't obsess about her. Seriously unless someone brings up Kathy, she is not on Teresa's mind. Its sad and pathetic how desperate these sisters want to cling onto Teresa in order to stir up drama and remain relevant. Teresa doesn't give a F about them

I have to say its weird seeing Teresa and Caroline on decent terms, good enough for Teresa to just call her up and have a civil conversation and Caroline to receive her well.

Its funny how Rosie said f-ck Tre until she realized she needed to film with her for camera time.

And what was that sh-t with Rosie suggesting the Manzos and Lauritas come to the therapy weekend. Um I know it is to get the while cast on the trip but WTF? Jacq and Caro wrre just her friends and they said they wanted nothing to do with her and did some foul sh-t. I can understand wanting to fix family but friends? Um no.

They can really drop Jacqueline and Kathy. I know Caroline's annoying ass will stay because Andy loves them and Teresa will stay because she has a huge fanbase (as does Milania) lol. Melissa and Joe Gorga will stay because theyre Andy's b-tches and will do anything to remain "famous". All the other ladies could pop up here and there. 3 new wives wouls be ideal for Season 6.

Rosie's gross ass needs to disappear. Give ot up Andy she is a piece of sh-t!

Lauri is just as ugly on the inside as her crimson chin and awful ass lips are on the outside. Her entire purpose for returning to the show is to trash Vicki's life. The woman who gave her a job when she was broke as a joke. I will say this, she is working HARD to earn her orange back.

LOL exactly. Who wouls admit their daughter's friend is a porn star. ThThen telling Vicko she had a video to prove it. Was it going to be of the girl giving Brooks' nasty ass a blowjob?

Vicki was so thirsty when Heather spilled that tea on Gretechen lying about doing the television show. Kind of makes it hard to feel bad for her (not to mention if she had the kind of info on George, Slade, hell or even Simon she would be doing the same thing)

RHoNJ:

Well, that's 41 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

I had to laugh when MeMeMeMelissa told her mom that she was writing a book (well, a paragraph) about how to be a good wife and said she was going to talk about her father. She's all "Part of why I want to put him in the book is because I think it molds me into the wife I am, and I want to make it such an incredible environment for my husband when he's here that he doesn't want to look elsewhere when he's out." Way to indirectly lay the blame for your dad's cheating at your mom's feet, Melissa. What a self-obsessed, nasty piece of work she is. Her mom's upset face said it all.

Rosie was acting like these little kids at the supermarket who throw MAJOR tantrums, screaming and throwing their bodies all over the floor, and their mother is absolutely mortified.

I can't wait to watch RHoOC. Seriously. I loved last week's two-hour special, too.

    • Some of those 1988-ish episodes are up. I'm not really sure she did much else. I think I recall something along the lines of she and Rusty had been suspended over the investigation of Nicky, George's supplier. I'm not sure she even gets some kind of goodbye. I think she just disappeared when Pam Long returned.
    • I did not care, just clarifying that was the discussion point. If there are ice cream bars in Statesville I am sure there is a full spa
    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
