When you say somebody got read you're taking a side to a point, otherwise it wouldn't be a reading they received. You'd say something like I saw "Lisa and Kyle (or Camille) scratching." I think even Andy was a lil shocked. He was all "did you say red? ... Oh 'read,' interesting..."

RHOBH

Lisa was being obnoxious during this episode concerning Kim. I like that Yolanda and Brandi didn't join in to her stirring the pot. I'm not mad at Lisa but she needed that figurative "shush" from Yolanda.

Brandi and Kim getting along well is sweet.

Just when you thought Brandi wouldn't do anything inappropriate during the episode. Cherry sauce. F.U. Porn, lol.

Kyle forcing Lisa to profess her undying love and Lisa mocking her in her diary session? Bwahah.

Nice episode.

It was a DINNER party. They were 3 hours late. Anybody in that position is in the right to not allow the guests in. I will say I had more sympathy for the women after realizing they weren't just out shopping or something. They did all seem tired.

I mean she got mad but was back talking to them and having a good time the next day, its not like she hates them all now. They did something rude, she told them good night bc she had to be up in the morning and that she would see them tomorrow. I really don't see anything wrong with how NeNe reacted.

Meanwhile, everyone seems to be going in on Kandi on the boards and blogs about how she was begging for food. Even my friend texted me when Kandi said "I wish we could get a to go box" lol

Kim was actually really unsympathetic. I have family members and close friends with addiction issues and in rehab and stuff. The girls had every reason to worry about her. I do feel bad for Kyle tho but I totally disagree with her babying and justifying Kim's feelings when she should tell her to get it together and that these things will happen due to her past until she consistently shows she has changed. I'm trying not to judge either because its such a hard issue to deal with it but it does seem like Kyle knows her relationship with Kim isn't stable enough for her to do anything real. She has to baby her and that's not going to work. Kyle should sit Lisa and Kim down and explain to them how the other feels. Don't get me wrong Lisa shouldn't have been poking around and kind of joking it, but I don't think she felt she could sit Kim down and confront her and didn't know how to handle this. Brandi was the only person using any real logic in this situation. Kim does seem kind of permanently wasted from all that she's done.

You show up an hour late to a dinner party not 3 hours late, at midnight, when you know the hostess has to work the next morning and that her 15 year old son is sleeping. That [!@#$%^&*] is rude, no matter who does it. And don't act like if you had a party ready at 9, you wouldn't be pissed if bitches rolled up at 12.

It appears she trying hard to recover. Lisa is talking to and about Kim like she's not even in the room. It felt to me like Lisa was enjoying causing drama surrounding Kim more than she was actually concerned for Kim. I do think Kim is too hard on Kyle, on the other hand.

Sure, Kim should understand that people will question her behavior due to her past but it's easier said than done.

1 hour, you'd possibly get in.

3 hours, midnight. I'm not going to even acknowledge you dropped by and tried to enter unless there was a major traffic issue.

Lisa really just needs to stop talking about it. Ugh. She's annoying right now. But seriously Kim, Lisa can be worried too even though she's not her sister. Kim only is attacking Lisa now because she can't deal with people questioning her. Kyle misses the point that Lisa has moved on but she hasn't forgotten. Saying sorry when forced to doesn't make what you I'd vanish. Mauricio in those tiny shorts yes! Kyles shocked face at prices lol. Yolanda's dress she tried on is perfect. Mauricio buying her that purse was so sweet. I love him and ken as friends and how they just let go of their fight. The girls could take note.

A dude invented the high heel? What? That's a crazy story. I just want Mauricio to hold me and tell me stories lol.

What another great adrinne free trip.

Kyle trying to come at Lisa lol. Kyle you fucked up - own it. She's jealous of Brandi and that friendship. Kyle listens to what other people say that Lisa said too much. She keeps excusing everything she said and done against Lisa when she needs to own it and apologize.

I am so ready for RHOOC. They did cut the new girl out of the promo/cast shot.

The guys looking at the ET and deciding not to go say hi to the girls, lol.

All Lisa said was her relationship with Kyle changed. And it has. Lisa is on point here and Kyle is just coming off pathetic.

It isn't just a silly argument tho. That's the issue. To Kyle that's all it is when to Lisa it's a big deal.

Love Brandi defending Lisa as Lisa defends Brandi. Ladies this is how friendship works and Kyle can't deal with it.

I'm pretty sure the girls in Paris + a new wife is the cast next season.

I am ready for this reunion.

Yolanda owns Taylor next week like Lisa just did Kyle. Yes.

    • And not since. I recall it was quite small for a house that size. And I don't know why you would walk down a narrow corridor to get to the main living area. I hate when the sets on soaps don't have a logical layout! As for Andre his clothing is fashion forward and suitable for his character. He ain't gonna wear no blazer!
    • The last I remember seeing Ben, he was divorcing Amanda. He came to tell Evie that he still loved her, but was leaving town so that Amanda wouldn't blame Evie for his divorcing her. I'm not exactly sure when, but Evie doesn't leave town until sometime after Nola and Quint's engagement ball. I'm not sure if she leaves before or after Justin leaves in Sept(?) of '83. I grew to like Helena when she became friends with Vanessa, once she's edging her way out of Quint's life.

    • It sure was!  With respect, how does that make sense?  These men are young, I don't see that.
    • I hope this played better than it sounds, because I'm imagining two separate scenes (the attack by Arnie, and later Charles getting shot). In my mind, it should have been a fluid single sequence. I wonder if or how often "bastard" was uttered in this scene. Fare thee well, Christopher Reeve. I've said it before, but pop culture's gain was daytime's definite loss. Imagine seeing HIM day after day, year after year, decade after decade, conceivably until they stopped producing soaps in NYC.   Well, that answers my "bastard" question. Good lord, the roads of Rosehill are packed with high-strung drivers and/or pedestrians. More sequences that I hope played better than they sound.

    • I think Ben had already left while under Marland and only returned briefly to reconcile with Eve. The whole thing confuses me as I thought for a long time that Eve left the show to go be with him and that was when they reconciled, but it seems like he returned, they got back together, then he left and maybe they were still together until she left to join him? I have no idea.  It does seem like the interim writers were using some characters like Justin and Helena who were quickly dumped under Kobe/Long, which is a shame. Helena is one of those characters who likely always had a shelf life but Rose Alaio was such a vibrant screen presence, if Kobe/Long had just been patient, she likely would have fit in well in the Reva era.
    • Also, the lawsuit story was not the right story to bring Naomi and Bill into a court battle since those types of lawsuits are usually resolved via settlements.
    • I know that Sara did eventually become Carrie's therapist, but I was curious if the show had her make comments regarding Carrie's stunts of making it seem as though Justin was cheating on Jackie.  Given that Justin cheated on Sara with both Jackie and Brandy, I wondered if it was wise of her to counsel Carrie given the conflict of interest involved. @DRW50I think once Adam/Sara end up married.. Marland didn't see any reason to explore Sara's personal life after the actor playing Adam was released.  I know that Sara lasts until at least Christmas 1982 on the show.. but I don't think she ended up staying on for very long into 1983. The period between Marland quitting and Pam Long starting was the perfect time to clean house on characters that had outgrown their usefulness  (i.e. Ben, Evie, Sara, Jennifer, Morgan).. and tying up stories started by Marland that were too complex (Mona Enright, Mark/Jennifer/Amanda triangle).
    • Unpopular opinion:  The focus on the soap opera tropes over the mysteries and crimes was partly what did the show in.  Also, featuring characters not involved in the legal, police, and criminal elements also hurt the show and took away what made it unique. Featuring characters like Jody, Raven, Sky, etc hurt the show long term.  The show ABCified starting in 1976/1977 and then went through a youthification period starting in 1981.
