RI has Newport.. which is sort of their version of the Hamptons.   And they have Providence as their main city.. which is very diverse and pro LGBTQ... and it's a 45 minute train ride from Providence to Boston (people usually will commute from Providence to Boston for work and vice versa).  So I could see one of the housewives being from MA.

I imagine the conversation was that you couldn't title it Real Housewives of Providence, because there are 26 cities named Providence in the US.  Also, Peacock reruns the series Providence, and they wouldn't want to mess up the search results.

The only people from nuRHONY I’d ever care to watch again are Raquel and Jessel. So I’m fine if it’s done. Killing off old RHONY because of one bad season when you had a cast with the chemistry and history of the OG’s was monumentally stupid. BH hasn’t had a good season in literally years and they refuse to fix it.

Reza’s level of toxicity is what made me drop Shah’s which I at one point genuinely loved. Him being rewarded to poison another Bravo show is just the typical stupidity I’ve come to expect for the network. Anywho it’s just another show I can skip thankfully.

I hope the new housewives show along with Ladies of London avoids young housewives and influencers. Please somehow get Stanbury to just rent a house in London for filming and get her back on my tv.

Recap from reddit:

• Ralph was made to live in the basement via a court order and Drew made his office her glam room. We saw this on the show.
• Drew has to vacate the home the 1st, 3rd & 5th weekend each month by 3:30pm on Fridays.
• Ralph’s has to abide by the same rules when he leaves the 2nd & 4th weekend.
• They were ordered to communicate via the Family Wizard app.
• They have a Temporary Order which said that Ralph will pay the mortgage, taxes & HOA costs. Essentially, Ralph pays the bills and Drew pays the exterminator bill.
• Both pay for their own cars but Drew asked to use one of Ralph’s cars for her nanny and the Judge said no.
• There’s no child support payments being made right now.
• Ralph is living in the basement because he can’t afford to move.
• Ralph has changed attorneys 3 times as we saw on the show. He has the female attorney that we saw a few episodes ago.
• The documents they had don’t have the full salary information & RealiTea said the whole file would cost $800.00 and the ladies paid $80.00 to get the docs they’re viewing now.
• Symone believes Drew wanted the docs sealed so we wouldn’t find out how much she makes from RHOA and other endeavors.
• The full unsealed documents will be released over time.
• There was a motion filed by Ralph to seek an evidentiary hearing. Ralph & Drew made their money through the Drew Sidora LLC. All the payments from Drew’s endeavors went there. After Drew filed for divorce in February, her lawyer went behind Ralph’s back and terminated the LLC. Ralph was getting 40% of the LLC & Drew was getting 60%. Within the docs, he listed all of the projects she did. He’s accusing Drew & her lawyer of destroying community property without his permission. Drew’s lawyer dissolved the LLC & Ralph was unaware of this for a year. She then opened 2 more LLCs in other states without Ralph on them and funneled the money from Drew Sidora LLC to her new accounts (Drew LLC & Drew Global LLC). The new LLCs were created in California & Illinois. Ralph alleges that Drew spoke with people who he previously worked with and told them not to communicate with Ralph or involve him in company business. Whew child.
• Drew reallocated her 1099s to the new LLC & went to a loan shark & got a six figure loan with a high interest rate and used the marital home as collateral and defaulted on it. So, the house is at risk of foreclosure.

• Ralph’s income mainly came from this LLC and the deals that were made so he’s no longer receiving the 40% and is preventing him from knowing how much she’s making.
• Ralph is arguing that Drew is withholding financial documents & Drew accused him of that on the show. Both sides were supposed to provide their documentation.
• Ralph alleges that Drew neglected to pay $30,000 in taxes in 2023 for her share as that was the last time they filed taxes together. He also says she refused to pay the extermination bill and only made 1 payment towards that bill.
• Ralph said he performed duties behind the scenes and hired agents for Drew and was paid a distribution by Drew where the funds were deposited in the account & the payments to him included loan payments as he loaned the LLC $150,000 of which $49,000 of that Drew has yet to pay back.
• Ralph said that his access to the business stopped distribution as the co owner. So, any income from sources besides RHOA, he isn’t receiving. It truly looks like Ralph was living off Drew’s money based off of everything thus far. So, it poses the question of how is Ralph paying the bills if he is no longer receiving any money from these business deals. Drew said “You ain’t getting a dime of my money”
• Ralph says that Drew failed to provide her sources of income to prepare their taxes for 2024 except for her unemployment benefits. She filed these without Ralph’s knowledge. So, sis was out her receiving unemployment income . (Allegedly).
• Drew received $4,187 worth of unemployment benefits. She could’ve gotten unemployment if she was laid off or something similar. So, if she wasn’t earning anything from the LLC, she could’ve filed unemployment but that’s still highly questionable if true.
• Drew & Ralph did not have a prenuptial agreement. So, they’ll have to split costs which Symone believes Ralph would want along with fighting equity for the home. It seems likely that Ralph indeed wants spousal support.
• His job is questionable. It was said he was in tech & according to his LinkedIn he’s a Client Executive at Gartner for 9 years. So, he might make a decent salary but it still seems like he’s making money off Drew too.
• So, essentially they’re both living above their means.
• Ralph is asking the court to penalize Drew and her attorney $15,000 for their behavior & $15K to $20K for his lawyers fees. He could also file a complaint against Drew’s lawyer for dissolving the LLC without his permission.

Re: Ladies of London. Like @NothinButAttitude, I heard this was going to be RHoLondon and that Stanbury was going to be moving back part time with Sergio. But I guess Bravo decided that LoL had the more proven track record.

Marisa Harmer (who had the world's most annoying voice before Jamie Kerns Lima burst on the scene last week) won't be coming back, as she moved to LA. I hadn't realized that she and Matt divorced. Neither will Duchess Caroline who sold her London townhouse during Covid and moved to Copenhagen full-time with her children.

I would love to see Sophie Stanbury again, and I will even hate-watch Juliet Angus (another annoying vocal-fry person) if it meant some cohesion between Stanbury and some of the newer cast. 

I'm actually surprised Stanbury is moving back to the UK given that the government has rescinded the nom-dom tax status and so the wealthy are fleeing to Dubai, among other locales.

 

 

I am one of the few bummed about the apparent demise of nuRHONY! I would have liked to see how they rebuilt a third season. 

With that said, I also wanted the OGs to return to Bravo permanently, and my hope was under the banner of 'The Real Housewives of Palm Beach.' In addition to Bethenny, Jill, Ramona and Sonja, Luann has family down there (she and her mugshot absolutely need to be part of the show), Aviva has an apartment in Miami, and Tinsley's mother Dale lives right in Palm Beach. Given the Mar-a-Lago inference, and the fact that Palm Beach is very protective of its name and residents, though, I would absolutely call it RHONY: Snowbirds, an inspired title. This show needs to happen!

 

 

Thanks, Cheap! This write-up is so detailed and INSANE. I'm sure more of this will spill out onto the show. What I got out of this is that Ralph has been living off of Drew and is likely expecting her to pay him alimony. At some point they will have to sell the house and move to smaller accommodation each. It boggles the mind how much they seem to have spent beyond their means. It's not as bad as PK and Dorit, but it ain't good, and she's the only one with some steady income.

@Cat Real Housewives of London is still happening and thats a different show than Ladies of London. Its not a Bravo show but rather an international show produced for Hayu. Thats likely why Bravo is rebooting LoL, bc they actually own that

I am with @Cat in that I want RHONY 2.0 back. It finally got interesting last season. Why bust up the cast now?! Plus, I've always said that this show just needed Luann and Dorinda added to the current cast. That can still be easily done.

bc by and large most people hated it. The audience didnt gravitate to it and it was telling that almost every guest that spoke on it on WWHL trashed it to Andy's face. I dontt think he nor the network were pleased and it wouldnt surprise me if they try and act like it didnt exist. Plus the stuff with Brynn left such a dark cloud over it and it got attention or all the wrong reasons.

That and half of the time they only got interesting when they were pulling pranks. So even the people who liked it turned on those ladies. Add on the above...and what I said everything about how Production are playing deaf on all things Brynn cuz she was their pet and NO ONE wants to film with her...and it will be a miracle if it comes back.

Before I die on this nuRHONY hill, I am going to check out the last season all over again. While I remember every minute of that astounding final episode, the rest of the season is a blur. (Rebecca Minkoff? Prankgate?). Nevertheless, I was pretty invested in nuRHONY last season and became even more invested when I realised how deeply Ubah was being gaslit by Brynn, and how damaged Brynn is. The stuff with Brynn is unresolved, and that's why I want another season -- to see where the rest of the cast go from here. It seems to have bonded them. 

I didn't realise WWHL guests had a strong reaction against nuRHONY. My thought was that the last episode + reunion might lead to nuRHONY's renewal, because that was when attention on it was at its peak.

 

As you know, there was that scene in the final episode where the entire Production crew are lounging around their babygirl Brynn, and as the other women wake up and head into the kitchen, they are greeted with that. The message couldn't have been more clear. Ubah was sent away to a hotel like she was the danger. There was no doubt in my mind that Brynn was Production's pet. Good for Raquel and Sai who refused to be intimidated.

Which is why I have argued that this Production crew (headed by you-know-who) need to be replaced.

This morning, I started to watch the season all over again, and within the first MINUTE, we got the flash-forward to the cast filming their opening shots, a few days after the cast trip. And one of these very same producers, still in his vacation shorts, is snarling at Ubah for taking time in hair and make-up. "I'm trying to get everyone ready on time," he snaps. Ubah snaps back at him. She is so over the BS. For the record, Brynn hadn't even arrived yet as she was uber-late. I didn't clock it at the time, but it hits me now how Production operated.
