RHOC

Chiile, Ryne is so damn awkward! He and Jen were both embarrassing each other in different ways. I expected the group to shade them when they left but they kept it nice. Terry kept it real though....a mess!

I have to say Heather was a bitch. Ryne was CLEARLY uncomfortable and she kept pushing him and not letting his wife handle the situation. She was intentionally making it more weird, potentially causing unnecessary friction between them when she already knows there are issues there

After seeing this episode, Im sure he will never be on this show again in upcoming seasons, assuming Jen is even still here. He'll get her demoted to a friend.

I respectfully disagree. I sincerely thought Heather was trying to include Ryne and make him feel comfortable and not silenced because Jen was a drunk mess and was not handling the situation at all.

The scenes did make me wonder if Ryne is potentially neurodiverse. He did not seem to be picking up on conventional social cues.

I think I can empathize and relate to Ryne bc Im also introverted and had someone done to me what Heather did, they'd have gotten the same reaction. People like that do not like to be put on the spot and intentionally made to feel uncomfortable. Heather embarassed him and regardless of what she may say her intent was, she made him feel even more uncomfortable than he was. Jen was a drunk mess but she answered the question and tried to move things along but Heather wouldnt move on. She kept forcing the issue and potentially causing division wit the couple in public. Ryne could have handled things better but he was trying to put up a united front by deferring to what she had said

SLC

Bad episode for Lisa Barlow. She can't defend her rant against Meredith and each time she tried she just looked more foolish and sloppy. That she 'might have got the numbers wrong' about Cameron and Mary's church is pretty appalling because it radically changes how people can perceive Mary.

I get the impression that production may not enjoy dealing with Lisa, hence the hot mic moments.

Yet again Jen Shah was likeable.

I certainly get the impression that Meredith and Heather and Whitney have been sharing notes as the season aired.

Lisa Barlow is not smart. When you play both sides, you are going to get called out! So why does she keep throwing temper tantrums and stalking off? Pretty much everything she said was ON CAMERA. She is so foolish for showing that she can't take the heat. Tamra Judge got caught out on S9 RHOC and still took it like a champ at reunion. She understood that when you play the villain, you are going to get knock-backs. Lisa Barlow got her head swelled from pandering to social media's breathless cries of ICONIC KWEEN but has only just realized that this offers her no protection come reunion time.

You once spoke about Meredith's past as a lawyer, and I can really see it in the clear precision with which she gives Jen her due but also quietly demolishes Lisa and Jennie for their doublespeak. I think she is great.

Heather is actually one of the smartest people on RH, but she and Whitney got off way too lightly for their pot-stirring. And Jen Shah is having the easiest, breeziest Reunion experience ever! Much better than last year. Is no-one going to grill her about the criminal charges, though? If/when she goes to prison, is the show going to call it camp too?

Salt Lake City:

Little girl is too smug.  We need a replacement for Mary...one that keeps her in check.

Meredith's look of disbelief after hearing Lisa's reason for the hot mic moment was hilarious.

I am so sick of the husbands of NJ. Good God, they are more messier than their wives.

Regardless of Bill being a butt for screwing on Jen years ago, he was the only man (amongst boys) at that table.

I am sick of Evan, B*tch Boy, and Marge's weasel. All of them can take a flying leap with Tiki's cheating a**.

Kudos to Bill for not giving these men what they wanted, which was a signal for them to openly bash Jennifer.

I hope Tre/Luis/Jen/Bill tear these people apart come reunion time.

And yes, I still stand firm that Evan cheated. He reaction tonight solidified it.

This reminds me of RHOV's Jody selling 'vintage' (aka second hand) Hermes bags at her store. LVMH and their comparable designer brands do not retail in small businesses. They control their distribution with an iron fist. And rightly so. Imagine being one of those people who paid for a fake Chanel from Melissa's store - they're probably seething.

I wonder if any will pursue refunds from her. Melissa ought to have known that she wasn't retailing Chanel - what sales rep was she dealing with that would have made it look at all credible?

I am stunned she didn't offer refunds after posting that statement. That says to me that MG knew full well she was selling fakes, but thought she could get away with it.

As you say, no way haute couture brands would distribute to some one-off boutique in Montvale, NJ. Melissa knows this. She's definitely tried to buy the real thing for herself and was told by, say, the Fifth Avenue Chanel store that the quilted purse has a waiting list! Distribution for Chanel is limited in terms of number of items, and to its own standalone stores, or concession spaces within the fanciest department stores.

This is more embarrassing for the Gorgas than when her former partner sold off unsold Envy stock at a 90% discount at a Kim D yard sale! It highlights how shifty they are (but love to accuse others of being).

It was fine when they were shooting the sh!t and giggling about the petty drama, but they really have no business getting involved in teams. Joe Gorga is a pOrn addict, Frank was such a bad husband that Dolores divorced him, Weasel (ha!) cheated with Marge when they were married to other people, Tiki's rep precedes him, and Lord knows what Evan does at the gym. They can't gang up on Bill for infidelity because that's cool, apparently, so they go for him because he didn't diss his wife to them? Evan's 'Get lost' was not a great look. Bill's got a professional reputation so he can't start laying hands on people. I know they're trying to call Jen out on what she did last year, but Marge digging for dirt on Louie is the same thing.

And Jackie pretending she is done with Jennifer and oh, the betrayal! She was kind to her for a hot second but we know it was only to get dirt on her.

They think they're great actresses but they're really not. And Melissa pretending to be scared of the bees was cringe too.

Question for the B&B group: I see @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded multiple seasons from Videoland  (in the folders that are to be put away). They are huge folders and difficult to download so I started breaking them down into months but I realized they are by season so for example, Season 4 spans from March 1990 to March 1991. Now I'm wondering where to actually place them, since we have the Full Episodes section divided by year, not seasons. And most of these seasons we already have in full, so these are duplicates. Not sure if it's necessary to keep the older versions. I could just make another new section for Seasons, so the main folders would be "Behind the Scenes and Interviews," "Clips," "Full Episodes," "Full Seasons," "Music CDs," and "photo archive Marquise" but I'm not sure that really makes sense. Also wondering since we have almost every full episode now if "Clips" can be deleted in its entirety, as it's nearly 300GB.
    • CBS moving Murder, She Wrote from Sunday to Thursday was straight up sabotage. Les Moonves knew exactly what he was doing.
    • I sure hope you’re right. The lack of sets is maddening!
    • I'm hoping that the new studio might have more space, meaning extra sets could be permanently erected. Perhaps the current  set issues are due to limited space available at Television City as it shuts down for the redevelopment. But if more space means spending more $$$ we might be stuck with the current situation no matter where they move.
    • Thanks @P.J. If my math is correct, Jordan Clarke runs were 1983-1987, 1989-1993, 1997-end.
    • I was/am mainlining both the Dream Season and Season 7 of KL together, since that was the year of their big creative swap. That's the most I can take of Dallas consecutively. But I've been very preoccupied with other shows and work IRL and I need to get back to it after a long break from my Knots binge.
    • Wk 1 95/96 MSW moves to Thurs, Cybill takes the Sunday slot. Thurs 8-9pm NBC Friends #3 20.5/33 The Single Guy #6 19.2/30 CBS Murder She Wrote #55 9.3/15 ABC Charlie Grace #74 7.6/12 FOX Living Single # 78 7.2/12 The Crew #80 7.0/11 Sunday 8-9pm NBC Mad about You # 15 14.6/23 Hope & Gloria #35 11.7/18 ABC Lois & Clark # 38 11.4/18 CBS Cybill #49 9.8/15 Almost Perfect #65 8.1/12 FOX Space Above & Beyond (2nd hr of 2hr episode) #51 9.5/15 60 Minutes was #19 so a lot of viewers didn't stay for Cybill. On Sunday, Sept. 24, CBS finished third on the night, and its performance among 18 -49 year olds was worse than it was with the older skewing Murder, She Wrote in the time period last year.  So moving MSW was a foolish move at that point. It was compatible with 60 Minutes and would probably have finished Top 20-25 for the week. They should have left Sunday alone and concentrated on other nights..
    • I’ve been watching Knots and FC rather compulsively for a while now. Currently in fall 1983 with both. I had Dallas in there, too, but I am rather shocked at how stale that show gets after Jock’s death. Meanwhile, I can spend hours in the vineyards and in the cul-de-sac.
    • What will actually change though? Does this mean the sets will be different too? Or how exactly is this gonna look like to the viewers?
    • I'm not sure Passions is the model to emulate here.
