Tom Girardi is actually one of my fave RH husbands, and I wish we saw more of him on the show. But it's clear he's not there to get involved (as Nene would say) in women's business. I also suspect that he and Erika are living separate lives now and married in name only. She's basically living in WeHo and Mikey is her constant companion.

This financial situation must have been coming down the pipe for a while, because there were whispers of this when BH aired last season. Rumor had it that after that season wrapped, Tom cut WAY back on Erika's glam squad expenses. She doesn't have a full team around her anymore, basically it's Mikey and likely a makeup artist on retainer. That's prob why she was in such a pissy mood at Reunion last year!

I'd be surprised if Tom was using the loan specifically to support Erika's career, though. That would be so, SO dumb. The loan must be for business expenses but the business has not generated enough profit to pay back the loan. He (and Erika) will no doubt want this suit settled quickly and quietly.

I wonder if any of this will be hinted at or featured in BH this season. Because I have a feeling Dorit & PK's grifter problems might be. The Kemsleys are in hock to a bunch of mega Vegas casinos to the tune of millions, not to mention some of their Beverly Beach financing partners. Not to mention the UK where he skipped out on creditors after his massively indebted property empire collapsed in 2008.

ATL did what needed to be done tonight! MARLO AND THOSE BAGS HAD ME ON THE FLOOR! Of all the people to lose their luggage for it to happen to the most vain and label obsessed one was iconic. She was sick and it gave me life lol.

We we had a good amount of shade and fun moments so far. Shamari could’ve stayed in Atlanta because it felt like she wasn’t even there. The tour guide had more of a presence than she did. Loved Porsha’s pregnancy announcement and of course the fight with Tanya and Nene was great! As usual, Nene makes it hard to support her because she’s so unwilling to bend when a friend is upset or feels slighted. Eva’s news was very sad and I liked seeing her go to Kandi who had a unique and uplifting perspective IMO. She was the right one to go to.

I wonded how how many episodes are left. It feels like they just started.

They won't film the reunion until about March. Big Brother will be over by the end of the month. She'll still attend the reunion.

In other housewives news...

This chick just does NOT get it. Rinna is gonna end up being loathed this season all b/c she's trying to push this 'hate LVP' narrative. She better ask Yolanda and Brandi how that panned out for them.

Exactly. Does she not remember how Yolanda and Kyle scurried to make up with LVP the beginning of season 5 b/c they received so much backlash at the reunion for season 4? Brandi remained a hard ass and it bit her in the a**.

Also, Rinna needs to stop banking on Kyle and Dorit. The both of them are flip-floppers and blow where the audience blows. As soon as either one of them catches heat, they'll do their best to get back in LVP's good graced. Teddi will too seeing as she's Kyle's pet as of late.

This is what I mean about Rinna doing victory laps around Twitter and Instagram before this season has even aired. She thinks she has this season on lock and that LVP is leaving Bravo in disgrace. Even those deeply lukewarm to LVP would rather make up their own minds once S9 airs.

Rinna is so obsessed with getting rid of LVP. Jill Zarin was the same way about getting rid of Bethenny and Ramona. And we all know how that played out.

And what the heck is Rinna offering the BH audience exactly? Potshots on Twitter? She's too cowardly to get involved in the show itself. If she were a true contender, she would SHOW us that she, Erika at al., are worthy of carrying RHOBH forward without LVP. Instead of telling fans we ought to hate her.

    • If you ever make it to the Paley Center in NYC (fka Museum of TV and Radio), in their viewing room, you can watch Days 1/1/73 featuring Denise Alexander as Susan. It’s her last month on the show before switching to GH.
    • Overall I was impressed with this week and fall out from the revealation.  I am looking forward to seeing the Nicole/Dana showdown next week.  I do wonder if June is going to be tied to Hayley.
    • I thought Adam and Sara got married? Although I do not remember any mention of her when Adam returned for Blake's weddings. But MA certainly got the short end of the stick storywise, as Marland's obsession with therapy reared it's head.
    • Didn’t Meg Bennett return to SFT as a writer in the last few years. I always wondered if they tried to get her back as Liza.
    • Millette Alexander got the short end of the stick once they killed off Joe. The Justin thing was a non-starter. Then she was briefly married to Alan's corrupt lawyer and HE was killed off. She was paired briefly with Adam and that ended because she believed Holly over Roger about the rape. Definitely, Marland had zero interest in her except as the therapist for the many, many of his female characters who needed therapy. It's not odd she left the show. One of the rare 1978 episodes on YT shows Alan going to Cedars for a physical check-up. He ends up with Sarah as his doctor. In between making mysoginistic comments about women doctors, he also openly flirts with her. It's very obvious they were chem testing Sarah and Alan. It's a really good scene. Bernau is both obnoxious and charming and Millette is amazing, trying to be pleasant and profesional without rolling her eyes at him, but at the same time maybe a LITTLE bit attracted to him. An interesting what-might-have-been. So it appears the Dobsons were actively looking for someone to pair her with, they just never found the right one for a long-term story.

You've inspired me to add my 2 cents about this product placement debacle.  I absolutely HATE the way they are doing product placement in BTG. I really hope this doesn't catch on or evolve into more and more of these moments. It's incredibly off-putting to place them in a highly dramatic moment where we are still on the emotional journey with the character. What is next - Dani spraying the house while having a nervous breakdown? It makes me not want to buy the product they're selling. LOL. That's just me.
    • I always get the vibe that Martin/Smitty have an emotional abusive relationship set up... but I doubt the show will really go there with that element given that Martin is a Dupree (and we can't have the Duprees be portrayed in a negative light), and because it's a gay male relationship.   Even though abuse in the physical or emotional sense is a huge thing in a lot of gay and lesbian relationships. The Ashley/Naomi scene reads off to me for one reason....  Ashley was talking about the new scandal without any sort of mention and/or subtext.. considering she knew both Silk Press Sheila and Eva.  I'm not sure if the writers have forgotten, if Jen Jacobs isn't able to play subtext, or what.   It's just apparent the writers do not know how to write a young white millennial couple.. and perhaps they need to get a younger white script writer to be on staff... or let the actors play around with the lines to make them more natural/realistic.
