Nene did a video last night and shaded Bravo, Andy and took jabs at her cast. The real kicker is towards the end she insinuates that Kandi has been keeping her from getting her own spinoffs and calls her thirsty and ridiculous. She doesnt name Kandi but its obvious thats who she's talking about

Diana and Nene fell out according to the "word on the street" (in my Gizelle voice). They haven't been friendly in years. Pretty sure that Diana grew tired of Nene's sh*t much like the rest.

And Nene is incapable of apologizing and that flaw makes her insufferable. I have NEVER seen Nene apologize with the exception of the half-ass apology she gave Claudia back in s7. And she only gave that b/c Claudia read her ass down the night before.

This. And I don't think it is last part of the season that is causing the trouble. I think it is the first 3 months they are having trouble editing. I bet top dollar that they couldn't pull together any form of storyline for those first 10+ episodes and basically the season will be a filler.

Bravo should cut the whole damn season down 10 episodes max with a 90 minute reunion.

I agree. Not even season HAS to be 18-20 episodes before the reunion. Some shows have benefitted from shorter seasons. The problem is that this show is so successful now that they need a full 18-20 seasons. With such high pressure they HAVE to get better at casting. They front loaded the cast with a bunch of people who haven’t had a story in years (Erika/Rinna) or that are just boring (Teddi). That, plus two newbies and I’m not sure what they expected. At the very least Camille should’ve been upgraded.

Now I’m so confused. So Teresa ended her friendship with Danielle for defending herself by saying Teresa and the shop owner were egging her on to pull Margaret’s ponytail. I guess Teresa denied it which is how the flashback comes into play. Why would Teresa end her friendship with Danielle for telling the truth? I expected Danielle to do something unforgivable but this makes it seem like Tre was using Danielle when she needed an ally and attack dog.

I'm not shocked at all about RHONJ. When I watched the hair pull episode (my first episode in years), it was clear Teresa was encouraging all of the drama. What is Bravo going to do? They've turned the show into the Teresa show and they're stuck with the bow-legged thug.

As for Nene, I just can't with those videos. She is so paranoid and delusional. Kandi is keeping Nene from getting her own spinoff? The same Kandi she used to get back into the group? Nene needs to go.

I see Vicki is still hurling homophobia nonsense at Braunwyn. That woman (Vicki) is certifiable.

    • You're probably right. They may have just wanted edits of certain characters. Hopefully the rest is around.
    • Of course!

I'm wondering if there were bits cut from this footage, because to me it seems that may be the case. At 11:23, Laurie tells her psychiatrist that the bar phoned and told her Mark got into a fight and needs to be picked up. It starts to fade to the next scene, you hear some different music begin and get cut off between the static, and where you'd expect to see the aftermath of the fight, we cut back to a later scene of Laurie in bed worrying about what's happening. The credits at the end also show that more than Mark, Laurie and Dr. Northcote should have been in this episode. Another character, Brody, played by Ed Setrakian, is mentioned but not shown. If this is the case, perhaps the original fan who saved this episode has the additional scenes.
    • Anyway… It’s a shame that the video that depicted Leticia’s death was removed from YT.

    • Ms. Phelps holds a BFA in directing from Carnegie Mellon University, awarded in 1972. At a time when women were underrepresented in directing programs, she was one of the few women in her graduating class. To suggest that she possessed no further talents than completely changing the style of music used on soaps seems like a vast underestimate when one reads her online biography through an objective lens. I guess that I should be more clever than to constantly blame misogyny for these misguided interpretations of her management style.  But, I'll never comprehend why fans unquestionably align their opinions even years after fact. Post-modernism, and the ability to reinterpret context through the study of history, seems to elude this conversation.

    • This is 100% correct.  It was even on the nightly news where the US Government would not let the cast and crew travel to Egypt because it was deemed not safe.  The Achille Lauro hijacking took place on October 7, 1985, when the Italian ocean liner MS Achille Lauro was hijacked by four men representing the Palestine Liberation Front off the coast of Egypt, as she was sailing from Alexandria to Ashdod, Israel. The location shoot was probably scheduled to be filmed in mid-October to air throughout November with a two week tape to air date.  Remember on the show they did some in studio scenes doubling for Egypt before shifting the action to Arizona.  It was an awkward end to a truly bizarre storyline.

New episode from late 1973 or early 1974!
    • Coronation Street had a very good story where one of the characters befriended a man who she later learned had been involved in her husband's death - when told right it can be very powerful (not like AMC trying to make it a romance). ATWT almost had a big fire in mid-1994, so this seemed to be a "thing" with P&G at the time. I guess it fits the disaster backstage atmosphere.
    •   @jmgaw did not refer to Luke and Laura. Throughout 78 GH's ratings continued to rise as AW's fell. That turnaround was getting a lot of attention in the soap press with Scotty/Laura, Rick/Leslie/Monica etc . So the 90 min decision was a reaction to that. I guess the thinking was that 60 min expansion had worked so starting AW a half hour before might keep viewers from switching to GH at 3pm. I don't think anybody really thought it would work. The most sensible solution would have been to expand The Doctors and hope for a GH like turnaround, but for reasons unknown TD never went to an hour.
