I'm happy for Lu! Love the ring! And he does look good for his age.

Could care less about Jersey. It's the only Housewives show I've never been able to get into. I know I bitch that most of the wives from various cities are dumb as hell but everyone on Jersey is borderline retarded.

Jersey just isn't fun. Even in the first season I felt like it was a chore to watch until we got to the table flip. They have huge moments, but the day-to-day stuff is incredibly boring with them. They could've saved that show by bringing in non-related housewives around season 4, but since they never did it just is too late to save it. I'm interested in seeing their trailer whenever that comes later this year. I feel like it's going to be another boring season.

I agree that seasons 1-2 were chores to watch. Danielle and her delusions were the only thing keeping me entertained those seasons. I enjoyed seasons 3-4 but seasons 5-6 is when I started to feel the show was a chore again. The Gorga/Wakile v. Guidice family rivalry killed the show. IMO, they need to stack this show come season 7. I'd suggest they go the RHONY route and add 4-5 extraordinary characters to breathe life into this waning show. Otherwise, RHONJ can join Miami, Vancouver, and DC in the great beyond.

Well damn. I didn't expect Nene to flip on Cynthia so quickly. I knew it would happen but not so sudden. Can't say I pity Cynthia....:P

These women better learn that Nene views none of them as her friends. They are all pawns in her chess game.

True. I think she wants to get vengeance on Cynthia more than she does Kenya.

That aside, can the so-called 'rich b-tch' plz retire them ripped black tights?! I swear them are the only pants I see her ass in along with them ripped blue jeans she'll alternate back and forth with. Nene makes too much money to be caught wearing the same damn pants over and over.

Good to see Diana Nene's shadow still around. She's Nene's only true friend b/c she'll do whatever Nene wants as long as she gets to ride her coattails.

I'm happy for LuAnn. She looks genuinely thrilled! Especially after Heather/Carole etc targeted her last Reunion, at least she has someone in her corner. I'll bet her tag this season will be "I am no longer a Countess, but I will always be a Lady/elegance is just who I am" or something like that.

I really liked NJ in seasons 1-2 (Danielle "You either love me or hate me. There's no in-between with me"  ). IMO, bringing on thirsty-ass Melissa/Joey/Kathy/GrossSushiMan killed the franchise. Even the Manzos and Lauritas, ever ready to promote their own damn behinds, couldn't give a !@#$%^&*] about the Gorga/Giudice/Wakile (did anybody care about the Wakiles' beef with Tre??) mess.

Bravo brought in newbies (+ Dina "Namaste, bitch!") last season and IMO it made NJ even worse. Those awful twins, Amber and the husbands were so thirsty they made Melissa look positively refreshed. I hope we never see those dreadful amateur-hour 'actors' again.

Honestly, NJ was best when it followed the Giudice kids a few months' back while Teresa was in jail (coupled with Melissa whining about why wasn't she invited to visit Tre in the big pokey, lol. She really is just too awful). I actually felt something for Gia and her sisters. I know I shouldn't but I can't help it.

It might benefit RHoNJ if they expand the pool from just having Italian-American cast members, because they are running those IA stereotypes into the ground. Otherwise get ready for more "We're old skool. We believe in RESPECT" Godfather-style opening tags.

RHoA:

Damn. Nene just used Cynthia, wrung her out to dry, didn't she? I kind of feel bad for Cyn now that she's thrown all her eggs in Nene's basket again. That #flipflopping hashtag tho.

I'm in agreement. Virtually everyone in the cast grew unlikable by the 5th season. I still have a soft spot for Teresa even though she and the hubby are shady as hell. But hypocritical Jacqueline, fame-hungry Melissa, self-righteous Caroline, and thirsty unmemorable Kathy all lost their luster, if they ever had any. And the three newbies last season were all one-hit wonders that are better left forgotten & never mentioned again.

ITA to it all. I loved seasons 1 & 2, but sadly, there was nowhere else to go with the Danielle dynamic, and as you said, the thirsty Melissa, Kathy, and their extended family of goofballs --- plus, Bravo's insistence of keeping the dynamic for THREE long seasons --- killed the momentum.

the Queen is back!

It just hit me that we have three RH series going on right now. There has been overlap before but its usually one debuting as the other is airing the reunion and pretty much over. Nope now, we have ATL and BH right in the middle of their seasons with Potamac a few episodes in

Aww, I loved Kathy!  She was a breath of fresh air and probably the only sane one of the bunch.

That promo was good. I bet they treat it like Atlanta and continue filming while it premieres.

We were close to having 4 running at the same time!  I can't remember if Cheshire ended the day before Potomac premiered or if they had one week of overlap.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).

    • I did some research and the story wrapped up with Eric,a caretaker responsible for Georgina's death who then  tried to do away with Laurie but a vision of Georgina spooked him and he smashed into a mirror, dying of glass wounds. So there was a supernatural element. I wonder if the Brody character in the credits was Eric Brody?
    • AI has it wrong. David was working as an aide at PV Hospital due to failing to save his brother's life and refusing to continue as a doctor. His true profession was revealed later. Edna had divorced him while he was in Vietnam and he had no reason to be in contact with her. He had no idea that he had a daughter.  Ruth was Ruth Martin, she was still married to Joe, not Jeff. He was not deceiving Ruth as he believed that Edna was his ex. The poisoning story happened late in his run and probably introduced when they knew Gleason was leaving. AI's interpretation of him as conniving seems to based on that short lived poisoning story and other misinformation. For most of 76 he was involved in the Ruth/Joe triangle to the point where Ruth was ready to divorce Joe and leave town. Joe had to have surgery, David operated and Ruth suddenly realized she wanted to stay with Joe despite all the problems they'd been happening. David then got involved with Christina with Jeff and then Edna as complications. And he arrived late 75 not 76.
