Mara Arena Bell and her writing team should be ashamed of themselves for their incompetence and and laziness.Heather Tom proved on this very show that with the right writing and casting, a teen actress can succeed, which obviously Y&R no longer has. For the record, again, Haley Erin was a horrid actress, but I refuse to believe that there aren't any talented actresses in their late teens out there that would be more suitable for this role that Rylan. Members Vee Posted March 9, 2010 Members Share Posted March 9, 2010 Y&R is now about overpaying for either the a) right people (Rylan, Riegel, Nichols) or overrated people (Goddard, McCrary, Eva Pigford, etc for D-list 'outside soaps' name value) in the wrong roles with the wrong stories. It's become a parody of GH in that way. Next: Melissa Fumero as Eden, Billy Magnussen as Noah, Natalia Livingston as Mac, and DEIDRE HALL as, IDK, Kay's OTHER secret child.
