Can I just say that AMC is MUCH improved if we aren't able to know Damon's paternity from a mile away?

In today's episode, JR said to Tad, "Wouldn't it be something if we are related." This got me thinking, what if JR is really Tad and Dixie's son and Damon is Dixie and Adam's son? I don't know how it would be possible, but JR's comment got me thinking.

^If JR is Tad and Dixies son, then that is a damn shame. Tad and Dixie NEVER had sex until after JR was born! That was the beauty of their relationship. How ridiculous if that's the case! They didn't sleep together until after J.R was conceived and a blood test proved it along time ago that he was Adam's! If Tad is JR's father, than I think this would be another historical re-write that should never have been thought up in the first place. Ridiculous if that happens, LoL.

But I did hear JR say that, and I just didn't think much of it. But now you've got me wondering, Jonathan. ugh!

ITA. It is quite shocking that the Damon's maternity isn't readily apparent.

I just hope it doesn't turn out that he's just shocked that it's really Max, and that Raquel was his mother. That would be such a let down.

Isn't Taylor Miller coming back for another run? Could Nina be the mother?

Hillary was my first guess too. Thought about Dottie too. I think the actresses, Carmen Thomas and Tasia Valenza, are living in LA, but the timeline wouldn't work. Damon is younger than Jamie. For it to be Hillary or Dottie, the kid would have to have been conceived in the 80s. Jamie wasn't born til 91. Plus, storywise, Hillary already moved on with Mitch at that point. But they've rewritten history before, so who knows?

I thought that was the weirdest line to throw out there. Made me wonder if they were going to make Tad and JR really related too.

Take it for what it's worth, according to ABC Soaps in Depth, the show is still casting the role of Miguel, and producers promise it's coming. Also, they are moving forward with a Damon\Colby pairing and are bringing more teens onto the show. So i think this rules out Damon being Adam's son, right? I wonder who his father and mother will be. I think his father will be Tad, but I want him to be David! No clue who the mother could be. AMC has got me thinking hard...

-Damon and Colby will be paired as a couple! The writers at AMC are hoping to create another long term couple akin to the young couples of the past (Angie and Jesse when they were teens). In order to enhance this match, more teens will be brought onto the scene.

-The role of Miguel has not been cast yet, but producers promise it's close.
