Ha ha, I didn't look that closely, to be honest. I think the centrefold on Braeden is funny!

For me, it really speaks to the ridiculousness of pitching these two men as rivals. They come from such different eras, even if they're not that far apart in age. This TOTALLY changes the "Tucker" dynamic for me...from William Russ' hard-to-fathom portrayal (good ole boy? aged hippie?) to someone lithe, dangerous, catlike. Victor better be careful!

I think the only time Nichols played that up was as Stefan. Patch was much more of a true blue type, with an edge. The real question is whether he will even have a chance on this show. I guess we will know if they start to write him with the he's so cool/hip/above everyone type of writing, and if they pair him up with one of their pets. If they just keep him with Jill and as the bitter son, then I can see him raping Sharon by November sweeps and being killed off.

I remember an SOD "sexiest men" photo shoot from the late 90s where Stephen was wearing brown leather pants and sitting close to the camera, with his legs open.

It was a lot more interesting than anything on GH at the time

And there I thought Sylph would be patrolling for "pornographic infestation."

I read the Feb Sweeps spoilers, and they basically put me to sleep, so I personally think we're in for another snooze-worthy sweeps period. Not that I expect any better from this hack writing regime.

But why is this thread started on Sunday? I find when they're started on Monday's, there's less clutter...

And an actor change is not going to save a crappily written role and storyline....

I really wish that the DNA tests were sealed so that we could just believe that Tucker is Katherine's son and be done with all this DNA bullshit. Once Tucker is established with Mr.Sexy in the role than I would like to see an X wife or two and a few children move into the cast. And no, I don't think this show needs more newbies, but there is so much fat that could be trimmed out of this cast that would make good newbies possible. Even better if Tucker's ex is not white so that we could have some diversity.

LOL to both of you. You were on my list of expected reactions to this. Interestingly, my intent with this pic wasn't sexual, but humor and also bona fide comparison. Victor and Tucker as such profoundly different types of men...in the real world I'd have a hard time seeing Victor win this one...since I'm expecting Tucker to basically be Stefan Cassidine. But we'll see...

There are two more reactions to these pics I'm expecting and counting on, LOL.

Relevant to the episodes of this week: I haven't looked forward to a batch of episodes quite as much in a while. It mostly relates to SN joining the show. I'm eager to see how this shifts the dynamics.

If I had any investment in this lame Tucker story and if it were plotted, paced, and executed properly, perhaps I too would be excited about a recast. But, I'm not, because it won't change how badly written the overall stories and the character writing is on Y&R.
