No one has congratulated or applauded Dani for holding a gun and for the record, I think she was wrong for that.

It won't be used as a reason to dislike her or root against her.

No it was the way she dealt with and still deals with adults.

Dani deals with adults even worse.

Plus most soap children are disrespectful.

Well its already a reason why you dont so its kept at least one person from liking her, not to mention this thread is already filled with Dani haters. I think most dislike her than support her at this point.

Who, Todd and Tea who rightfully deserve it? I guess you can throw Eli in there. The first two she blames for the death of her father and Eli has gotten the end of it by association. She's not randomly rude to people who have little to nothing to do with her. As you can tell by my avatar, Im a Tea fan, but I cant fault Dani for lashing out at her bc she deserves it for her lies and role in the events that led to her daughter's current pain. When people have faced a tragedy, sometimes the best therapy is anger and Dani needs to let it all out bc if she keeps it inside then that will hurt her even more. They need to take it and give her time bc her anger towards them is justified and considering how they've handled things, they just need to accept it for now and let her heal.

The show tells us that we should admire Dani for treating people badly. They just say, "Well, she's like her parents," or, "Who does she remind me of?" As with Todd and Tea, the worse they are towards other people, the more we're supposed to root for them.

Dani & her anger are useless.

Especially since she

gets everything she wants anyway since Ross is alive yet she will still feel entitled to be surly & snarly.

Exactly.

Celebration of progress at the sake of regression is horrible.

It has just about everything to do with it.

In what parallel universe does being "uppity" justify being held in worse regard than holding guns on people?

She held a gun on the man she saw kill her father... I don't think they're comparable lol.

Howcome "celebrating progress" to you automatically means it'sapproving of this regression you speak of?

"It didn't?

Wasn't it Destiny's attitude toward Becca & Justin that had her branded as pesky & pushy"

No. It's been her attitude since then. I wish they'd bring some of that old Destiny back in fact.

And again there's always an excuse for Dani's horrible behavior.

Just like her parents.

Deriding & marginalizing one while celebrating the other is tacit approval.

No. It's been her attitude since then.

What attitude?

Other than not liking Dani she's been no worse than other soap children.

You don't think that there's any relevence to why a certain character--like or hate the story--is holding a gun on someone? That it should be viewed the same way as Destiny's constant "spunky" eye rolling and taking off are?

  • Member

Her anger is meaningless especially since there will always be a justification for her actions no matter how wrong.

A perfectly acceptable to statement to make since it will never happen. :)

Agreed--and I was glad they didn't stretch out the Nick stuff. That said I really didn't see any thrusting lol

At around the 8:54 mark.

Well damn, it's not full-on penetration, but there's definitely a distinguishable PUSH in there.

Oh ok..yeah I saw that. I think the scene was going to be even more revealing but was toned down. So that thrusting you saw was just a glimpse of what we might have seen more of.

It was enough for me. I mean I'd welcome more in the future, but for a first sex scene... tongue.gif

I was satisfied with it too. I guess Fish was the bottom since he mentioned if IT was going to be good like this all the time...LOL.tongue.gif
