He's not a headwriter and this "quote" is my best guess at what was said, but I had to include:

"I've got it! Let's name him Zarf!"

Loved Marina Alburger saying she didn't go to school for four years to get her degree in communication studies just to work at Nordstrom. I wonder if she still feels that way.

And Elizabeth Page saying she had to downsize from her usual $200 haircuts to her $80 haircuts.

That one followed MarkH around for quite a while.

:lol::lol::lol:

I realise only now that Sinclair meant head writers only.

I wish — but then again perhaps not — I remembered Michelle Patrick's exact words on Guza's views of men and McTavish unabortion storyline.

Well, I stressed head writers because, in the end, they're the ones dictating story -- but any writer will do. I know there are some brilliant writers who are bound by their boss's vision, and then there are some who subscribe to it as if it's gospel (Victor Miller worshiping McTavish). But I said HW's because it ultimately comes down to their "approval."

You missed the word more. B)

I think it's largely the fact that even in this curren tstate of soap operas, soaps still are a habit for most of their watchers--and we're used to sitting thru rough periods with our soaps (though GH has had a rough moment last an eternity). even in the "good old days" the soaps had their up and down periods.

She didn't when I spoke to her last...at Loehmann's. (Nordstrom wasn't hiring.)

I wanted to strangle the both of them. Those "writers" definitely put a bright ass spot light on their priorities when it comes to their "craft."

I remember reading (I believe this was you) saying you wanted to smack her upside the head with a Flowbee.:lol::lol:

Classic. :D

Well, it was certainly fun for those who hated the b*tch!

Good times, good times. It was horrible, but I enjoyed her grisly demise.

Enjoyed it? Hell, I threw a party! Buffalo wings and everything! :D

My fave will always be from the covers of SOD, all 200+ they have put this on...

"THE PLAN TO SAVE DAYS!"

"VANESSA MARCIL RETURNS TO GH?!"

From 1996 to 2000, there was often a cover blurb about "Missy Reeves back to Days/Daytime?" It thankfully happened in October 2000.

And now that Scott's on GH? It'll happen again (...and again...and again...and again...).

Just take a look at the GH thread. Everything will be clear. People hate it, yet comment on it in huge doses.

Uh? I think that you mean the Y&R thread. It isn't by accident that GH has a monthly thread that barely comes close to the Y&R weekly thread.
