Truthfully the worse thing about Y&R's current state is how much better it used to be overall. As bad as things are if we are honest worst have been done and is currently done on other shows. The thing that continues to make me upset is I'm sorry to put this in such a condescending tone but my viewing standards are uch higher than what I witness on many soap operas, now when they are good they are good but when they are bad I'm outta here. So Y&R being better than any of the latter isn't saying much....

What I hate is the nasty stuff that is so easily prevented. Why did they need to have the molester doctor with Ashley? Why did they need to have Deacon rape Amber? Why did Zapato have to be killed? How did any of that really further story?

And yeah, I think we just found Phyllis's long lost daughter that she gave birth to while she was off screen in the late 90's...

I think the last person she screwed before leaving was Michael, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

But I think they'll write this as someone not on the show being the father, so Phyllis has a retconned past (when she was off the show in the late 90's) that comes back to haunt her.

Oh wow. It would be kind of interesting if she's Michael's, but after losing Daniel to Danny, I just cannot see Phylis giving a baby up for adoption. I guess anything is possible now though.

Don't discount what these writers might have written that they can say it happened in offscreenville. Isn't that what OLTL did with Adrianna being Dorian's daughter?

No Jack and Phyllis baby please it take away fromt he history. Weren't they trying with no success to get pregnant? Makes no sense, just not interested in a long lost Phyllis spawn right now

I love how everyone is already jumping on TPTB about this character/storyline before she has even aired.

Personally, I'm interested to see Phyllis in a story that isn't about Nick.
