Which AMC actor has made the cast thrilled with his decision not to move to L.A.? “He’s a pompous and arrogant jerk,” says a co-star. “We’re all thrilled he’s not making the move.” The actor is also reportedly responsible for getting James Scott and Julie Pinson fired from their AMC and Port Charles roles, respectively. If you can’t guess who this actor is then I’ll have no choice but to revoke your soap fan membership.

And if ever there was a time to be a pompous and arrogant jerk it would be having to get through scenes opposite Denise Vasi!

If it wasn't for TK Eileen Herlie's passing probably have been completely ignored by the show. It sure as heck would not have gotten an entire episode. And that poem he wrote (which, quite frankly was the only genuine moment in that episode other than Francesca James' scenes)...yeah what an @sshole.

Funny. I've never thought of TK as particularly arrogant. He strikes me as outspoken, emotional, and opinionated but no more so than many/most actors. And as someone noted above he gets hella points from me for his love of Eileen Herlie. TK could be the most arrogant prick on earth but the scene where Zach broke down in the elevator during Myrtle's memorial service got to me in a way few scenes - daytime, primetime, film, it doesn't matter - have in a long time.

I have no doubt "a co-star" called TK "a pompous and arrogant jerk." I bet if I asked around the TVGuide.ca offices the same words would be used to describe Branco. Along with "loner," "psychopath" and "person of interest."

If Branco has such disdain for the soap genre why is he even associated with it?

Maybe he should go see if the Weekly World News is hiring(since he loves to make up stuff).......

I can tell you for a FACT Thorsten is the least arrogant person. People who weren't fans that met him, became his fans instantly cause of the warmth and friendliness he showed them

Marceline I so have to co-sign this:

    • Good point about her doing different kinds of writing quite a lot & often. OLTL had success with a book plot, I think, Marcy wrote it. Possibly it was at a time when Michael Malone was HW there as he was a very successful novelist & also Professor of Lit at a small college.  And, of course, AW had Felicia Gallant as a very successful romance author & Mac's business empire was Cory Publishing.  I wonder if this won't be more like Katie on ATWT writing Oakdale Confidential, though. Sheer spec as I have zero clue what their plan is.
    • Possibly.  I remember the "movie" being Jack/Jen, Bo/Carly, and John/Isabella centric.  I am assuming they are just recreating the idea of people/couples being brought together in a storm, which isn't very creative in the first place.  One Stormy Night was the worst of the 3 primetime movies too. Lol.  Fair.  Writing some press releases for her the two clients she has does not mean she can write what looked to be a 500 page novel. Stephanie spends 20 hours a day figuring out her love life anyway.
    • One Stormy Night was the name of the January 1992 Days primetime episode. https://www.jason47.com/days/episodeguide1992.html From jason47 bio of Jeanne Marie Ford:  when I was in high school, my best friend got me hooked on 'Days.'  She first worked on the "Days" staff in 1992 as an unpaid intern and soon after became the show's writer's assistant from 1992-1996. https://www.jason47.com/days/writersinfo.html
    • I have not been convinced any Stephanie since Shayna Rose can read.
    • The throwback, and the randomness of it all has me worried that Jamey had something to do with it.
    • As a PR person, she's undoubtedly written zillions of press releases and presentations, so I don't find it that much of a stretch. But it sure did come out of nowhere. I don't know if any soap has done particularly well with a book plot, though, so I'm apprehensive of where this will go.
