Sarah Brown + B&B is such an odd fit. She is intense and method. B&B is purposely campy and tongue-in-cheek.

Plus SJB is gonna be pulled into that vortex of SUCK that is Squirrel. Man, I loved Jack Wagner when he came on the show. Dominick was a breath of fresh air. Now I hate him worse than Poncho Ridge. Wish Deacon would come back and free Bridget from all this. Two beautiful, dynamic women fluttering around Pepaw Marone? Come on!

The ranking of the last hellish three is misleading. I moved them around continuously because they always seem to suck at different times. Like earlier this week, JMacI had an outdoor scene and I thought she was quite good. But anything involving "Rick-kuh-kuh-kuh!" or when she was butting her nose in Jackie's past sex life? No.

Gareis started off ok when Donna was confronted by Justin about Marcus. But then she started doing that fake-cry of hers and it all went down the shitter.

B&B has been BAD, BAD camp for too long, with some exceptions, like Pam. They need to move in another direction. They need a strong woman who will plow through the bull. I don't know if they will do this with Sarah but they desperately need some sort of change while they still have a chance.

I just hate that Nick is involved.

Err...Pam is a part of that "bad camp." Summer of '08 with Crazy Pam was bloody awful. And everything else after that hasn't been much better.

She's been a part of it but she's been the only part I almost find entertaining. She saved that Price is Right mess.

Sarah Brown Joins the Cast of The Bold and the Beautiful September 30, 2009 - Los Angeles, CA - Three-time Emmy® Award winning actress Sarah Brown has been cast in the role of "Sandy Sommers" on The Bold and the Beautiful, Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell announced today. "Sarah's powerful screen presence and vast range as an actress has intrigued me for years," said Bell. "I look forward to challenging her with this new role that will be unlike anything she¹s done before. Teaming Sarah with Jack Wagner, Ashley Jones and Rick Hearst will create a fresh and formidable platform for The Bold and the Beautiful."

Brown's portrayal of "Sandy Sommers" will kick off a story-arc surrounding "Bridget" (played by Ashley Jones), "Nick" (played by Jack Wagner) and "Whip" (played by Rick Hearst) that will touch on a very specific woman's issue and emotionally touch the hearts of the B&B audience. Her first tape date is October 1, 2009 and her first air date is scheduled for November 5, 2009.

Having attended the prestigious Los Angeles High School for the Performing Arts, Brown began her profession in acting while attending college, when she was chosen as the series lead on the popular children's series, VR Troopers, which aired worldwide, making her a household name with children everywhere. Two short years later, Brown auditioned for a lead role on General Hospital and got the part of "Carly Benson." For five years, her portrayal of the character made Brown one of daytime television's most memorable actresses and a fan favorite. She was also nominated four times for a Daytime Emmy® Award for this role, taking home the coveted statue three times, in 1997, 1998 and 2000.

In April 2001, Brown made the decision to pursue challenges beyond daytime television and started to appear in many hit television series including The Closer, K-Ville and Monk and had recurring roles on Cold Case and Without a Trace. Other appearances include the hit movie sequel Big Momma's House 2, the movie-of-the week The Perfect Husband, and the long-running daytime drama, CBS's As The World Turns. On June 11, 2009, The Bold and the Beautiful was the recipient of the Golden Nymph Award at the International TV Audience Awards in the "Telenovela/Soap Opera" category at the Monte Carlo Television Festival awards ceremony, confirming that it remains the world¹s most watched series in its genre. This is the fourth consecutive year that the series has been the recipient of this award.

The Bold and the Beautiful, which celebrated its 22nd anniversary on Monday, March 23, 2009, is a Bell-Phillip Television production, broadcast weekdays (1:30-2:00 PM, ET; 12:30-1:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. I'm actually very interested to see what see brings to B&B because her acting style is totally not this show....

Hopefully they'll be smarter than GH and pair her with Hearst. They were awesome before Guza remembered he hated the character of Ric and therefore so did Claudia.
