I think many fans said goodbye to Beth when Judi Evans left. Members katie_9918 Posted September 7, 2012 Members Share Posted September 7, 2012 Looking back, it really is completely shocking they never even referred to Hope, except in ways to just highlight the fact of how wrong it was that she wasn't around for some of the big events. It was such a big mistake to send her packing in the first place, they should have brought her back, considering Alan didn't have many viable romances after her. It's a shame Mike didn't stay after the Lighthouse Gala in '97, especially since Robert Gentry's reappearance as Ed was blind-and-miss-it TV. With all of Mike's colorful experiences, he could have become the new Papa Bauer. Did they get much of a love story? I was watching clips from the Who Shot Roger storyline which seems to have them developing feelings for each other, but it ends before they really get together. By spring 1994 they were a couple, and he supported her in her efforts to win custody of Peter from Vanessa. They didn't have very much time together as he was blinded in fall 1994, became depressed, broke up with her, and went to a clinic for the blind. You might see some clips here. Several actors have tweeted pics and there are alot of them at stevenbergmanphotography.com People like Kathleen Cullen - who looks great - were there.
