Making her Chrissie was inspired, but if they hadn't gotten Roger and Holly back, would it have meant as much?

Lord, save us from another Shayne. No offense to KdP, but she's just not my cup of tea. Maybe she just upped her game for OLTL, but she's uninspired on GL.

Well, you can't have a "bad" Reardon. They could've said Chelsea was the oldest child of the oldest Reardon.

I think Kassie was a decent enough support figure on GL but probably not able to play complexity (most of the ingenues who came and went on GL couldn't), although they didn't really give her any either. She once said that they gave Blake everything that had once been there for Chelsea. She does better on OLTL but that took a while too.

I recall a scene between Phillip and Chelsea that was played with Bolger--I think it was the characters' first major conversation--but soon after that Grant returned.

Chelsea working in PR at Spaulding made little sense. At least Blake was supposed to be qualified. Never understood why Alan was willing to give Chelsea that job. He seemed to really like Chelsea as Phillip's girlfriend, too, which made less sense, as she was even lower on the social scale than Beth.

Wait...

Just thought of something.

Took her storyline?

Was CHELSEA originally supposed to be Alan's spy to help him get Spaulding back? Were they going to become lovers?

Is THAT what Maureen meant about her being "wild?"

Yikes.

Rebecca Hollen's last airdate seems to fall between July 4th, 1985 and July 15th. Reva tells Trish she's in love with Kyle and leaving HB on July 4th. The Lewises (minus Trish) go to Cross Creek to celebrate Billy's birthday (this year, other years it's in March) to "accept" Kyle as a Lewis the week of the 15th.

Thanks!

I know the Infinity story takes the heat for the lackluster of 1985, but the Charlotte Wheaton story isn't any better. Other than proving Barbara Garrick has a talent for playing mean spirited kooks. Watching Richard VanVleet is like watching paint dry.
