First things first: change his character to not be a douche. Second: connect him to a core family. Third: get him a haircut! Fourth: Give Jill Larson a contract in June or whenever. If Broderick can actually develop his character beyond the walking plot device he is for Pratt then maybe there is potential there. The girl playing Bailey is another story. Now, being fair, I'm chalking it up to his getting adjusted to the soap swing, but he seems to move around rather awkwardly, has anyone else noticed that? Like he's not really comfortable in his body, maybe it's all of the crazy specific soap blocking. But I don't think he's terribly charismatic either. Time will tell, but as of right now I don't see the need to tie him to a contract.
