Sorry no offense meant but I find it silly. I've always felt that Greenlee can ONLY belong to RB and I'll always feel that way. The current head writer feels the same way as he >JUST< said it in a recent ABC SID interview.

I must have missed that. Then again, I'm pretty sure I've missed every issue of SID ever published... so you got me there. Ironically, this is the same head writer who probably solidified Budig's decision to leave again. When Pratt assumed the reins, it really seemed as if her place was set in stone: firmly in Ryan's orbit. Maybe nobody realizes that Greenlee, in fact, committed suicide when she drove off that ledge... On that subject, Pratt gave her about the most ridiculous exit I've seen for a departing star. Woman in a wedding dress and a leather jacket riding a motorcycle flies off a cliff to a mysterious demise? I guess the bright side is that she'll probably at least be an urban legend around Pine Valley...

So, yeah, what comes out of Pratt's mouth is far from sacred... I'm sure you've heard about his other interviews.

That said, I'm going to go with the other sentiments on here: Greenlee's not that pertinent to the canvas at this time. But, thanks to some misguided writing / incessant need to tie her to Cameron Mathison, her year-long stint brought into its home stretch a wimper and a screech. Her last memorable scene involved something that people swear was a thong.

I get where you're coming from and I agree kind of. I'm a rabid RB/Greenlee fan, she is one of my all time favs(20+ years of watching)...so /I/ always see a need for her. But I agree the writing and Cam pairing were way off. She was never wrote the right way after SS took over and then her return. I'll always see Greens as that feisty little bitch(that I loved), that got what she wanted, others watch out, or be damned.

Then going after Ryan, but using Leo as a sex buddy until she can get Ryan? This was all 1999-2000 Greenlee. It wasn't until Richard Culliton came in 2001 that he made Greenlee Erica Kane, Jr. and tried to make her and Leo the focal point of AMC.

Even my mother used to always groan: "Sex for sale!" whenever 1999-2000 Greenlee came on.

Sorry no. How does using sex to get what you set your sights on disqualify you from being a slut? Within her first year she was with Scott, Ryan and Leo. Three men in 12 months? Undoing a fur coat to reveal herself in her bra and panties IN A DAMN MAUSOLEUM?!? Yeah. Totally not slutty. Greenlee and Leo were NOT front and center before Culliton. Nixon & Passanante focused on Hayley/Mateo/Raquel in 1999 and Ryan/Gillian/Jake in 2000. Greenlee and Leo were supporting players in Bianca's coming out story until 2001 when Passanante & Conforti broke them up at their engagment party. Then in 2001, when Ripa and Consuelos left shortly after Culliton started writing, that's when Greenlee and Leo went front and center with the whole Crazy Laura storyline and had been there all the way up until Leo's death.

Regardless, the character is not needed. By 2003 she became redundant. By 2005 she was watered down and I was glad she left town. Don't get me started on the last incarnation. I keep forgetting she was even on the show, and she's only been off for 4 months.

Early Greenlee was not a slut based on sleeping around, but she was obsessed with sex. All she cared about was bedding Scott.

Then she became obsessed with Ryan, and the sex was a big part of their relationship. He used her as a cheap lay. She went crazy when she realized how little he thought of her (which is yet another reason why Rylee were a horrible couple).

Later on sex wasn't as important to her. Greenlee became so cold, and so shrill, I had a hard time believing she ever enjoyed anything with anyone.

Uhm yeah actually it does, it was referenced ONSCREEN that Greenlee slept with the football team in high school. I always find it ironic when Greenlee fans bash Kendall and call her a slut when Greenlee is probably the biggest one next to Babe
