I hope not. I loved his little cry of Victory when he got the ankle monitor off. I think he could be a fun villain if given the opportunity. I also see traces of vulnerability in him. I think Ashley is starting to thaw him out a bit. I'll be interested in seeing his reaction tomorrow when she tells him Heather isn't his only friend. For me, Adam is a definite high point of the show.

My low point is that the C stories aren't being shown enough.

Oh, he's in character alright and he's been this way from jump street. Victor, Jack and even Heather I can see his motivations for revenge, BUT, Rafe/Estella I'm puzzled about.

Moral compass, please, Adams's faking blindness is a real slap in the face to Hope. Of all the afflictions/illness to choose from , he picks the very one she had. I understand why (easier to pull off) , but come on how demented is that. He really must hate his mother.

I hope not, too. However, they need to closely steer him off of that villainy and make him a redeemable character. Once someone becomes irredeemable in fans’ eyes, it’s bye-bye for me. That’s what I’m afraid of.

I think Estella and Rafe are innocent bystanders who the writers have introduced to us to reveal how immoral Adam is.

When he ultimately fails, we'll see him be the little pitiful boy he always was. That'll be the humanizing element.

Oh don't even get me started on that. A visionary impaired man that jumped his way out a second story window in to at least shrubs of bushes. By the way did he lose weight on his ankle bone or am I missing something? After jumping Adam walked himself blindly into the woods all in the nick of time to get back before another knock on his door. It's plausible he didn't run into Heather on his way I guess, or that she didn't notice him climbing up to his room *sighs*. I'll suspend all disbelief....

Here's what I'm learning about MAB's style - she waits till things allign and people are in a vaccuum until they do

Exhibit A: Jill has the goods on Victor and could easily blow up Ashley and Victor's relationship. That can't happen yet till Jill loses her money and her alliance with Gloria and Jeffrey is further cemented, Ashley and Victor need to experience more with the gaslighting stuff and have more stress in the relationship. Therefore, Jill will just sit on this info for no good reason till the rest of the story catches up to her.

Exhibit B: Phyllis has the goods on Sharon, sleeping with Billy. Yet Phyllis can't tell Jack yet, cause there's more movement needed in her pregnancy s/l and more development in the MJ s/l as well.

There's plenty more, but these illustrate my point clearly. I see what you all mean about the pacing. These people would never hold onto such secrets and there's no justifucation for them doing so that's been clearly explained.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
