I think I'm going to email her again, just to see, in case anything's changed.

When I have enough patience to deal with Karen I will email her and ask for a refund.

Have you chatted with anyone who attended the event? Ricky Paull Goldin seemed to enjoy himself.  I have not seen comments from any of the other attendees.

Yes, one of the guys in my FB soap group & also my good friend Suzanne Rees who runs my favorite Anne Heche page on FB. Also they both posted about it.

Starting at around 8 minutes into this you get some glimpses of AW's backstage, including Ann Wedgworth and maybe Jordan Charney rehearsing. And a brief, beautiful moment where the camera pans over the cast portraits that lined one of the walls. So powerful to get this short glimpse of the factory of legends. That part of the footage would have to be from 1967 - not sure if the Search material is.

Thanks, this is great. There is so much to absorb, I long for a fully annotated version! Joe Gallison's portrait is the one that really leaps out at me on the wall.

Here's a 13 page breakdown of 12/2/1980 show (Rachel's trial) written by Tom King for a script by Barbara Seiger. Barbara taught soap writing in NY back in the day and I took the course. She was not kind about King when she handed this to the class with a copy (which I have) of the first several scenes of her script for this particular episode. She had to tell King in the notes that there's no "unpremeditated murder" and King even notes in the outline for her to do the research. I wonder if Tom knew at this point that he and Soderberg would be replaced as of the 12/23 episode.  In fact, the entire writing team was fired and replaced by L. Virginia Brown etc. First six pages....and I'll post the remaining pages as well.IMG_7870.jpg

Actually, IIRC, Russ did not find out about Jamie until after the child was born.

I think you're right. In the Kate Lowe Kerrigan novelization, after Jamie is born Rachel talks with Russ (privately) about making sure Jim and Mary don't forget to create a trust fund for him and Russ doesn't have any objection other than she's being pushy about it. If he had known or suspected the baby wasn't his at that point surely he would have had something to say about it.

It does appear that Alice and Steve and Jim and Mary are less oblivious and also believe Russ doesn't know. Rachel has told Steve directly of course but he insists that he isn't the father (without denying to Alice that he slept with Rachel, so just wishful thinking); Jim and Mary are suspicious but think they should open the trust fund anyway.
