Not at all.

I'm hoping that the Kay and Jill action figures will somehow be able to slap and say "Bitch!" repeatedly...the Victor action figure needs to be able to slick his hair back and the Nikki action figure needs to be able to moan "Victooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrr, Don't Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"...

One caveat though: the Chancellor mansion set needs its dining room, I'm not playing with only half a set.

A villain who never pays would be fine, but they have to be strong. That villain would be proud of all the f'ed up sh!t that they do to everyone and everything, but that isn't Gloria. Gloria does stupid stuff all the time and when she is caught or confronted, she cries like a little baby. She runs to Michael to bail her ass out, begging him she isn't going to do it again. That's not a villain, that's a chump.

If Gloria was more like an Alexis Carrington, or a JR Ewing or an Alexandra Spaulding, even if she was just an all out trouble maker, I wouldn't mind her, but she is weak. Especially since she is dependent on men. That's no strong woman or villainess.

But I do see that you like her, you must see something in her that I just don't see. :P

I'm so glad you brought that up because I was so picking up on that today. WTF was going on there? :o

I hate the way Cane calls Lilly "sweetheart" with a fatherly tone in his voice, it also reminds me of how Victor calls some women "sweetheart" but he doesn't really use a fatherly tone in the way Cane does. I am so tired of Cane and I hope if they aren't going to get rid of him that they find something else for him to do then be obsessed with a baby that isn't his, he just sucks the life out of any scene he's in.

It would be nice if they had Eva Marcille working hardcore with an acting coach during the time the Winters "story" isn't featured. There are times when I kinda like her and I find myself wishing she was a better actress. It's sad that this Winters storyline is such a hot mess.....

I kind of like it! It's obvious they have at the very least a close relationship IRL -- however anybody wants to characterize that.

LOL, "CBS Daytime. Nobody does brothers better."

Nia Peeples brought it yesterday. She BROUGHT it.

I know lots hate her on this board but I think she's done a stellar job. Even if she does know it.

And also yesterday -- Katherine and Victor holding hands in their scenes. Old people can be so cute!

Nia was very good in today's American episode.... very good!

I HATE THE WAY EVA IS WEARING HER HAIR NOW! It does not suit her.

I would say Chloe was my favourite part of the episode... I just love the snarkiness of the character. I really am looking forward to seeing how this Billy/Chloe charade unfolds. I think bitch is going to go right off!

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
