In the end, I expect Phyllis to blow. There's only so far bottling up your emotions can get you. That's exactly what Phyllis is doing - she's putting on a facade in hopes that it will enable her marriage to work better, and it won't. As everything else in her life, it will blow up in her face.

I don't think we are going to get the explosion everyone is looking for or used to seeing from Phyllis. I like to call it "controlled anger" because there is no way she can hold this in. All I ask is that Nick be right in front of her when it does. And NO, it won't blow up in her face because she did not start this mess to begin with. This is ALL NICK!!! <_<

MAB wants to do something for the Winters? She needs to bring Rowell back.

I know people have been complaining about Tyra and Karen, but has anyone ever asked, what's Neil's appeal?

I know he's a Y&R staple, but he has absolutely no appeal beyond Dru. Where's his passion, his charm...I really have yet to see it, unless he's with Dru.

It's quite possible we've been looking to KSJ to be the matriarch of a family he brings no interest to. He's corporate Neil, everyone's best friend, everyone's favorite guy at the bar, but I really think the Winter's s/l is a flop because Neil/KSJ is just not bringing the fire. He's playing too much to the conservatism that is Y&R.

It's quite possible that after all those corporate passovers he's going through the motions and playing supporting to the women who are working hard to make things interesting, and have so little to draw from because their direction changes every so often.

Is it the promo that CBS did for all of their soaps in one? I haven't seen their weekly Y&R promo this week, but I did see the one they did for all 4 soaps.

Yes! It's the one that includes every soap on CBS. They used to tease Phyllis confronting Nick about Sharon, but since that cat's out, they showed you-know-what.

I could not agree more. Neil has never done it for me as a leading man. I think the big insult for me was when he was telling Dru that her career as a model was an illegitimate choice, unlike her sister Saint Olivia the DOCTOR. I think a husband should support their wife and not judge her against someone he feels is more worthy. I think Karen could be hot with another actor, but he just holds her back. Maybe it is time for this show to ditch the Winters and bring on a new family with some lead potential.

As for the previews, the Cabin showdown is previewed at the end of today's Canadian. I wonder if we'll get the results of the dna test before next week.

So Colleen is off to Italy...for who knows how long? I think Tammin has ben just fine the past week.Colleen could and should be a main character.

Waiting for more Doris

Traci needs to hang around and be used when necesary. However, the Steve situation woud have to be dealt with,Maybe a friendly divorce.Had the writers had more foresight Traci should have had a son by Steve to continue the Abbott dynasty.

Another day without the Winters story.Maybe they are taking stock and retooling.I still think a Malcolm recast could work...Terell Tilford? He's Lily'd dad,Olivia's ex,could be involved with Tyra etc.

MAB seems to have a long term plan...I really hope Keemo returns this year

The writers apparently said that the longer break from the Tyra and Neil kiss was intentional and that the storyline will continue.

Some of the spoilers say that Jack

regrets not being able to raise his children, so maybe the writers are finally addressing that problem

Considering Keemo hasn't been mentioned in like 10 years, and we're lucky if Jack even throws a mention about Kyle in once a year, I doubt they have any plans for brining on his children.

Do they want us to forget Keemo exists? It seems like all of the regimes since Bill left have refused to address that character and pretend as if he never existed.

Well maybe Maria will change that. We can hope. She has been listening to fans, and it seems that she occasionally reads this boards.

Love having a show where at least one of the teens isn't a cringe-worthy actor..The kid playing Noah was a great find.

How great does SC look today? Whoever did her hair today, needs to always...I'm totally not distracted by loose strands going everywhere or the extensions...
