Nope they never were friends. Dusty(Brian Bloom) was involved with Lily and Holden story. Once in a blue moon did he have a chat with Paul(Andrew Kavovit). Paul and Andy were best buds. I hate rewrites. Especially this one!

What's wrong with ATWT is the warp speed with which stories are told. What's the point of investing in a story if its over in three weeks? The top-rated soap is Y&R, which can drag a story out FOREVER, but when it does, it has a huge payoff.

A better question is, what isn't wrong with ATWT!

ATWT could be easily fixable if they actually told actual storylines. Nothing on this show feels like it's heading anywhere, because it isn't. It feels like a bunch of randomness that only has a point for maybe 2 weeks and then it's on to something else. The pace is too ridiculously fast on this show.

Short of Nuke's bodies, everything is wrong with this show. Choppy methamphetamine pacing and editing, endless recasts, bland or anonymous couples, 43 year old Alison, you name it. I have rarely seen anything so inept in soaps in the last five years, except select periods of DOOL and of course, GL. It pisses me off so much because ATWT used to be the last hope for good soaps, save Y&R. I would flip to it during OLTL's commercials and get so jealous. But that was four or five years ago. Now it's just a turd.

Remember that great scene where Molly teased Dusty about when they were kids and he chased her around the Snyder Pond?

Sheffer brought the lousy rewritten version of Dusty in and he just doesn't seem to go away. I keep hoping we'll find out he's actually impersonating Dusty and the real Dusty is hiding out in Switzerland.

Right, Paul and Andy. I remembered Paul having a really close friend when he was a teen. I guess somehow I confused Andy with Dusty.
