Well I;'m hoping for a 2.1 for OLTL and 3.8 for Y&R.

Could care less about any of the others!

Kinda hope Days drops like a stone, as I hate Higley, Corday, ect- and I don't even watch the show.

NBC does not deserve to be rewarded by good ratings. period.

For the fans, I hope Days will live on on another network.

This doesn't even make sense. She's only on maybe every other day, and I don't really see how they are pimping Tamara or Reese. If anything, this is the Ryannie/Rylee hour right now, but Annie/MCE makes that so fun and tolerable.

Seriously though, how can you even say that when Zach and Kendall have been showing their mugs everyday, and getting pimped for years now?

Since last week was a short week for OLTL I wouldn't be surprised to see another drop. This week started out great, but the only thing that saved these last two days for me were Dorian . . . and words I never thought would come out of my mouth . . . Tess/Jess/Bess. Go figure!

Andy I agree with every word you said. I esp. agree that Annie is making this enjoyable. Another element that is making it enjoyable for me is Debbi Morgan and Vincent Irizarry. I don't mean this in a sexual or couple sense but those too have so much chemistry working off each other. They just bring their scenes alive - even the briefest ones. I love when actors can do that and I don't want them paired as a couple - just good old adversaries. Hell thank God for Pratt that I don't even mind that they are pulling the old trend of just showing Kendall almost everyday again during her coma like they did when McT was there. With Pratt aboard I am enjoying them more than I have in a long time so even that doesn't bother me.

For me no one seems to be dominating AMC right now and I love that. Even though Annie and Ryan are on a lot I don't mind at as I once did because they are not the whole hour.

And Rhino I agree about OLTL. I hope that neither it nor AMC go down but I look for them too. A lot of people find these character interactions to be boring - they want the action. But this is the heart of soaps and I for one love it. And Dorian has been great until Friday's episode and it was just one of those times when I couldn't love to hate Dorian. I just wanted someone to slap the s**t out of her.

Oh Eric I feel there are some but after years of reading on various message boards about how boring this type of stuff is I am a firm believer that many of today's soap fans do find it boring.

They use words as filler on these type of scenes too. To them they are just filler until the action picks up or some major event happens in the story. Sorry I don't see them as filler - those are the scenes where we really get to know the characters and how can that be filler.

I have seen on 2 message boards in the last few days that people found AMC and OLTL to be very boring on both Thursday and Friday - they said too much talking. And I loved both days of both shows.

Oh, Kiera Knightley, who ARE these people? Any time Kate Hall or Joanna Cohen have an opportunity to pen a script for AMC, I am overjoyed, thrilled, over-the-moon, because I know I will get the layers of character I crave from my soap. Sure I appreciate the events and plot movement, but then I need the character reactions; the ripple effect, if you will. This is what soaps are about people; it's not so much the action, as the reaction. Isn't this a Marland rule or someone's axiom or something? ;-)

All 3 of the ABC Soaps are awesome right now with their writing in November. The only problem for ABC is keeping that audience around during the non-sweep months and that comes with better writing. AMC, OLTL, and GH can keep those numbers or grow them with strong writing.

CBS' combo of Y&R and B&B are really good also right now. Its ATWT and GL, which are boring right now.

DOOL is consistent and has been watchable since late October.

AMC, OLTL, and GH all gained about 30-40,000 18-49 females a piece.

So I guess the ratings will be flat from last week. Better than a loss for OLTL I guess.

AMC gained .1 in their 18-49.

Y&R will be flat as well looking at these.

    • I don't know.  The animosity seems to be more recent than the mid 80s.  When Maggie was a victim of the Salem Stalker i remember reading an interview with Suzanne where she said they aired the episode(s) surrounding Maggie death in a theatre and made a big deal about it.  Suzanne was very upset about being fired and Dee comforted her and said that they were making such a big deal about it because it was Suzanne/Maggie.  I cannot find the article but I will keep trying. That said Suzanne's comments on Soapy about how some of the female cast members treated her during her illness was disappointing to hear to say the least.
    • Anyway... Kristen should have a prison lesbian story arc. And then come out and become obsessed with Marlena so we can move her on from the Brady nonsense. Is that secret room still in the DiMera mansion?
    • Oh, wow... where can I find this interview?
    • I'm really liking Izaiah and Eva so far. And why can't I help but feel that something might happen to make Jessica stay in Fairmont Crest permanently?
    • So Pam didn't create her? I thought she had the whole of 87-88. I'll look around, thanks for the point in the right direction.

date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?

    • I am sure "no one cares" and it's not a big deal to some people, but this thread is full of certain posters calling out women's ages, their viability to have children at like 35, and their nail polish, but we celebrate everything Chandler Massey does and applaud any male shirtless scenes.  And then posters walk back being like it's just a joke and weren't serious lol.
