Ugh. We're going to have to get used to watching our country go backwards for at least four years.

Oh hell naw, that heiffer's not gonna compare Sunkist to FDR!

Funny that she should reference 1939 as I think Trump would be more than happy to take America back to the '30s.  I wish she'd cut the crap and admit that she's doing this for the attention to her career and to line her pockets. I hope  enough of those Trumpkins will buy tickets to watch her chew scenery during her next cabaret show. I have a feeling it's going to be hard to sell enough tickets to fill out an entire night at a theater the size of The Beacon.

Wonder what Sheryl Lee Ralph thinks?

She says she is doing it for "the people of America."  I have to respect Jennifer Holliday's motives for consenting to perform at the inauguration, even if I don't necessarily agree with them, or if I find them suspect.  But if what I read here is correct and she didn't know she'd get such strong reactions for her decision to perform at the installation of someone who will be most divisive president on record, then she's being more than a little naive.

And now he's dissing John Lewis. Disgusting.

Two reason why I think he's doing this...1. he's a petulant child. 2. he's trying to distract from all the Russia/Trump stories.

To me.....some of the media sites I got to. Media Matters, Crooks & Liars, HuffPost (at times), sites like that. I do NOT trust american television corporate news media (save Rachel, Joy and Lawrence).

Thanks. I don't trust Huff Post as I see it as a poorly edited vanity project, but I agree about the others. I just think that thanks to our "liberal" media, most these days don't trust major media outlets, and with good reason.

What do you consider Fox News, and conservative talk radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, and Michael Savage?
