Of course, I don't speak for everyone, but I don't worry all that much, because even if there WERE a full-on nuclear attack, it'd be almost a blessing in disguise.

My traumatizing memories of Testament make that impossible for me :(

On the one hand, good for CBS and "CBS This Morning."  But, on the OTHER hand, it's too damn little and too damn late.  Too many people in the MSM kissed Trump's ass for ratings' sake, and frankly, I don't know whether viewers will ever trust the "Big Three" networks again.

I agree, except, I would add the cable news networks in as well, notably CNN, which I stopped watching ages ago (except for when they livestream a hosted debate).

I read that Kellyanne Conway also appeared on CNN this morning and words like "uhinged" are being used to describe her but unhinged, wild-eyed is what the slim majority of EC voters went for this election season.

It's going to be fun to watch KaC wither up into even more of a desiccated husk. The presidency is notorious for aging people but it won't age Trump 1.) because he doesn't care and 2.) his obvious dementia. OTOH it's going to kill Kellyanne and Pence.

The sheer hours wll age Trump if nothing else.

I'd be surprised if he even does that much.

A lot of that will be stuff that is unavoidable, and that bores him to tears.

Trump doesn't look young and healthy to begin with.  I suspect that in four (or eight) years, he'll be bald and weighing over 300 pounds.  IOW, he'll look like Marlon Brando in "Apocalypse Now."

He's clearly already suffering from high blood pressure and he might have diabetes. Add in his mental problems and you have the most sickly President since JFK.

Well, with a misogynist, homophobic racist in charge, we will unfortunately be seeing so much more horrible behavior, and it will be coming from both sides. After hearing PEOTUS lie, deny and tweet his way through the last year or so, insulting everyone and anyone, you can't honestly be surprised that people are outraged with him.  That said, I don't care what pigment anyone's skin is. Treating someone who is special needs in this way is horrendous, and they deserve whatever punishment is meted out to them. Whether those kids are white, black yellow or purple, doesn't matter.  The fact that this country can't join together and try to heal from all the hate this past election season brought forth. The fact that our future president runs around and cries whenever he hears someone says something remotely bad about him says it all.  This generation doesn't understand accountability. They don't understand empathy. I know it's not everyone's kids, but the majority of the kids in this generation barely respect themselves much less their elders as the majority of us learned.

I apologize for the rant, but my niece is on the Autism Spectrum, and if anyone did something like this to her, I would be in that courtroom every day until they were brought to justice.

We all understand how devastating this story must be to someone that supports Trump. Don;t worry, though, you can share your pain over it the next time Y'all get together, put on your white hoods and discuss how rough you have it, being disliked and not knowing who's standing next to you until they speak.

Anti-white hate crimes will not bring any of the white working class voters who switched to Trump back to Democrat side.

He's unraveling much faster than I hoped imagined. He'll be drooling and wandering the streets in his pajamas by Inauguration day.

After the water NBC carried for him they deserve it. Trump always seems to go after those close to him if he can't use them as toys.

That's going to be one of the few things I enjoy during this nightmare. Watching him throw people under the bus. His supporters, the people who thought they could manage him, the ones who fell in line, he'll turn on them one by one.

This is going to burn out a lot faster than I thought. He's in a spiral.

To be clear: It still won't be good, but I'm not sure he can keep this up for a year, let alone four.

And yes - NBC deserves it all, especially as someone there seems keen to re-stock half their line-up with Fox castoffs.

I wonder if it's going to be like one of those TV-movies where the person is suddenly pumped full of pills to keep them in check...

I'd say he's stir crazy waiting for Obama to leave (and deep down realizing Obama will never actually "go" - I think Obama's going to be the most active post-POTUS since Jimmy Carter because he likely knows he has no choice in the matter at this point), but he is so all over the place it could be anything. Or everything.

Just ask Ah-nold.  Trump tweeted how great he'd be as his replacement on "The Celebrity Apprentice."  But now that the new season has begun and the ratings have come in, Trump...well, let's just say, he appears to have changed his tune.
