GOP rejoices over Pelosi win

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2016/11/30/gop-celebrates-pelosi-win/94674304/

Nancy Pelosi had some unlikely fans celebrating her re-election as House minority leader Wednesday — loads of Republicans.

Republicans — including members of President-elect Donald Trump’s team — gloated over Pelosi’s sweeping election over Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, Wednesday. But it wasn’t because they think she’s a good choice for Democrats, in fact, it’s the opposite.

Stay classy, GOP.

Ben Carson as HUD secretary. Oh boy. Ana Narvaro tried to spin it like "We'll at least someone who grew up in poverty is in the cabinet." That might be an argument if he was even a little bit qualified.

Given Takei's platform I wish he wouldn't just use it for jokes or for running commentary that's weeks out of date.

Why didn't they just make him Surgeon General?   Maybe you have to actually be military?    He is a crackpot quack, but at least he theoretically has a medical background so why not use that?

The Surgeon General isn't a member of the military.  "General" in name only.

I love him and I want him to run.

Too bad he wouldn't win, though.

Quickly?

I'm talking mainly about NYC, not the rest of the country.

It's been present in words, but I'm talking about the daily assaults happening. I lived in NYC during/after Sept. 11th and there were some acts of aggression, mostly graffitti and name calling but pushing women down the stairs???

And did I mention that some of these men were taunting and yelling Trump's name over and over while they committed these assaults?

Yes, this is a new low.
