There's an extremely, disturbingly cultish clip of AOC that Bernie's campaign is amplifying where she essentially talks about how she had no knowledge or value as a human being until she heard his name.

It freaked me the hell out. I'm too old and tired for this direct injecting of cult mentality in our society. This is what people spent years attacking Obama for when he never, ever amplified something along these lines.

I am more and more concerned about the Bernie cultists and where they're heading.

Cult mentality is never a good thing in politics. There is actually Sanders fan fiction and it's no secret how weird fan fiction of any kind can get at times. Someone even created a coloring book with his head superimposed over a muscular body. The number of young people who seem to really think that he has given their life purpose is really disturbing and he does nothing to discourage it.

It's only a matter of time before someone yells, "Rape me, Bernie!" at one of his rallies.

I don't know about Jersey but the majority of New Yorkers sure hate Trump's guts.  This is a pinned tweet, lol.

Is it just me, or does anyone else suspect he might have done this as a preemptive strike against SDNY?

That's certainly why he moved (it's more likely just changing addresses).

"But...but...her emails!  And his son!"

I don't trust polls anymore.  I CAN'T trust them anymore.  Fifty-eight percent say they disapprove of his performance as president.  Yet, come election day, the majority of those individuals will mark their ballots (again) for Trump.

Reminds me of that embarrassing Mueller cover.

That the numbers are near 40% for Trump tells us he has a path to reelection.

Yes. It doesn't matter that much what the disapproval rating is, if they will never vote for a Democrat under any circumstances and that's just where some of these folks are mentally.  I like Elizabeth Warren. I would probably pick her to be President, many Americans will fall for the socialist fear mongering. EW isn't even a socialist, but that won't matter.

It looks like KH is struggling.

Beto has dropped out.

A great example of why someone should not run for President just because they did well in a race and the media likes them.

If a Democrat wins the White House (........) hopefully there will be a role for him.

I like Beto a lot but I'm glad to see him go. As for Harris, this is just not her moment. She'll run again probably in 2024 after serving four years as the AG in the Biden Administration.

Frankly, I think Beto is much more cut out to be an activist, as his impassioned statements on gun control have proven.  The more the heat was turned up on him and his campaign, the more he appeared to wilt.  And when he came to Tulsi Gabbard's defense?  Well, I was basically done with him at that point, lol.

But the thing that gets ME is that I was so sure Buttigieg would be gone before Beto would.  Seriously, when is Mayor Pete gonna drop out already??

And -- it bears repeating -- WHAT THE [!@#$%^&*] IS MARIANNE WILLIAMSON STILL DOING THERE!?!?!?

Buttigieg has been doing better than Beto in the polls, nationally and statewide, for a while now, and has tons of money. My guess is he will be in through Iowa and New Hampshire at least. He has no chance in South Carolina so if he doesn't do well enough in those two states he will give up.

Williamson is probably in for attention.

That, and her spiritual adviser/beautician has warned her that dropping out this early will rip her psychic force a new one.

My guess: he WILL do well enough in IA and NH to keep going -- for awhile, at least.  Regardless, though, I still see it coming down to Warren vs. Sanders vs. Biden at the DNC.

I think that's the worst outcome so it's probably what will happen.
