I must ask...can you figure out any reason why Republicans just won't distance themselves or call this creature out? I mean I am honestly at a loss.

There are people I have seen interviewed who are losing everything due to his shutdown but still back him all the way. I can't understand this.  really, because this is just crazy.

I can't completely figure out why they won't start legal proceedings to have him removed from office given some of the things that are coming out about his connections to Russia.  Maybe they are afraid of his base? Anything else he can do for Republicans (abortion, deregulation, SCOTUS) Mike Pence can too and probably more successfully.

This thread lays out the Pence situation. I like to believe that we've smartened up a bit since 2016 and that he couldn't win, but fool me once and all that.

Republicans are all about conformity and falling in line.

It means admitting they were scammed by a conman.

Plus some people don't care if they are hurt as long as they think other people are being hurt more.  Then there are the people who just want to burn it all down. There are more of those than I ever could have imagined three years ago

It isn't just Faux News pushing the idea of more people supporting the wall. I think I saw an ABC article saying the same. The media really wants that wall and wants Trump to have a win.

The cropped together photo used for one of the Steve King articles makes me laugh:

It looks like the male version of the sisters from The Waltons each gasping in their own way at the latest gossip.

Beats the hell out of anything from the Trump Tower food court.  JS.

That table looks like gas and heartburn waiting to happen. He paid for the food himself, but it's a cheap spread for someone who is supposed to have so much money. And it's seriously worth pondering if he bit off of any of those burgers and put them back in the container.
