I'm not really a people person, so that made it a lot easier for me to just stop interacting with people who weren't to the left on social issues. I have no regrets, but that's why I was taken so off guard by Trump's rise. I hadn't realized how insane things had become. My husband has some Republican friends, but I just wrote them off as pendejos and limited my contact with them. Little did I know they were not outliers. 17 days?! That's pretty outrageous.
