Just as expected, the same people who are out to get Northam are also out to get Justin Fairfax.

That's why those on the left who rush blindly into moral superiority situations often do more harm than good.

(and I'm not surprised that the Washington Post is helping the right wing cast doubt as they tend to support conservative views anyway)

It's amazing how desperate the media whore branch of the GOP is to get AOC's attention, I imagine because they simultaneously envy her and desire her. She does reply to some (like this jackass who only got famous because Pete Davidson is a mess and because Lorne Michaels, like the media at large, loves Republicans and wants them to win), but she has continued to ignore Ben Shapiro, which I'm happy about.

Crenshaw has turned out to be just another right wing nut.

The thing that is happening  that these clowns hate is that everyone - republicans and democrats and independents, in general like the idea of raising taxes on the rich. And Kevin Hassett telling people to listen to economists after lambasting the elite economists the past few years, isn't going anywhere.

IA.  It's one thing to be...concerned over a person's past behavior.  However, they can't see that all this is doing is playing right into the GOP's hands.

If neither becomes governor, then the next in line is the maid.  You know, like on FALCON CREST?

I'm sure when Edwards heard his name, too, he looked up from making another illegitimate child with a blonde bimbo and asked, "How da fug did I become part of this!?".

Construction on "the wall" is starting, and the toll it will take on the environment is going to be immeasurable.

He's a real [!@#$%^&*] - smug and proud of it. A few days ago he was jeering a woman who works as a security expert in probably the most blatant example of "mansplaining" I've seen in a long time.

This is what our media, and Lorne Michaels, want us to support. This is their GOP and their America.

I don't think Northam is a bigot today, but I also don't think (and haven't for several days, even before that awful press conference) that he has any choice but to resign. I have no idea WTF to think with Fairfax and his responses so far aren't helping. I don't want to eat our own, but some things we have to do upkeep on.

Spend any time at all reading "woke" twitter and you know we do have a problem with this on the left.  Some of the threads on there really make me cringe. One the comes to mind is the woman bitching about how she doesn't feel comfortable in white spaces (a legit topic, no doubt) and her main example was how a white person told her not to bother taking her shoes off in the white person's house. I kid you not. It was a huge preachy thread and she had a lot of retweets and responses.  I have rarely rolled my eyes harder.

At the same time, no one gets righteous points for giving someone who dressed in Klan garb the side eye.  It's not my call what happens in Virginia, but I do think one thing Trump has shown us is that the character of our leaders has very far reaching effects.

    • Wow, do I agree with you. Chelsea is coming off as ridiculous. All she does is look for a woman to date while not caring about her business at all. That she's bi is great, but they're not writing her like she's bi. She seems to be lesbian. Yeah, I know -- "no labels." I just don't find the writing for her story to be anything other than awkward.   -- I hope we get some diagnosis finality with Bill's trip to the hospital. I don't want to see these trips to the ER every other day. -- Naomi is going to blame herself for Bill's health problems? GMAB. -- Ashley doesn't read as a real nurse in the slightest. -- Another day, another rinse and repeat conversation with Derek and Ashley. YAWN. -- Kat is making mistakes, but she's fun to watch and listen to, regardless. -- I still think the Joey/Vanessa/Doug gambling story sucks. I know Doug is deeply in debt, but I don't like him acting this meek and submissive.  -- I'm not sure what Joey's plan was from the beginning, or why he had to seduce Vanessa at all to get his way. I'm not sure what Vanessa ever saw in Joey -- why doesn't he give her the ick? -- I'm fine with a story where Doug and Vanessa take out Joey.  -- The fades to commercials were pretty bad today.
    •   Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set ablaze?). Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole now live in the tack house.
    • Victoria’s previous house burned down.    And I know why characters frequent Crimson Lights 3 times a day for brownies, muffins and empty mugs:   THERE’S PCP IN EVERYTHING.
    • Today was a good episode, and the week for that matter. I think they've also done a better job with background music. The scenes in todays episode weren't as silent as they usually are in the background and it was noticeable. I think the show has found its groove well and I'm still invested.
    • Garneau was in the Liberal party and his riding was in Montreal. He was the first Canadian in outer space.
    • I agree. I really have enjoyed this story from the beginning. I feel like it needed the time for us to care about Doug. They've done a nice job of explaining his motives and making me care for him. I still feel like he's doomed and Vanessa will end up being a widow and now I'm invested in that *not* happening now that I've fallen for him. Friday was good but so was the entire week. I think they're doing such a nice job of keeping things moving. We got good movement with Bill's story this week, Chelsea is attempting to date, Andre and Dani are having tough conversations about their relationship, of course Anita reunited with Sharon. There is *so* much going on and I didn't even cover all of it.  I wish all of the soaps would take a page out of BTG book and start rotating their stories. I love that everybody is getting a chance to shine and they don't just sit on one lead story to the point you get sick of it.
    • Did Jordan Clarke have a departure sometime between 1985 and 1989? I know Robert Newman had three runs: 1981-1984, 1986-1991, 1993-end.
    • Well, they usually weren't on the show at the time for long until the late 90's. But yeah, they really deserved a story centered on them, and not through the lens of Reva.
    • Chelsea was doing the absolute most today! Why was she introducing her sister to a woman she doesnt know? That whole scene was embarrassing. Madison needs to stay away from her bc she is too immature
    • Gosh, what a waste with Lunacy. Why have her live with $B, reveal Finn, pardon her, etc What makes this story incredibly hollow is that what Luna is asking isn't unreasonable - to spend time with her cousin father. She's not asking to move in with them. How hard with it be for Finn to throw her a bone by, say, I'll meet you for lunch/coffee once at week at the hospital cafeteria. Lunacy isn't going to hurt Finn. In fact, all her crimes were related to finding her father and it turns out to be someone she's loved her entire life. Instead of course-correcting the nonsense of last summer, Brad somehow found a way to make this worse! That's a skill... Of all the younger actors B&B has cast during the past 5 years, LY has shown the most growth and range. Why get rid of her?
