I think Trump will win and that Kasich is still the least of the evils, followed by Carson.

I continue to forget that Carson is even still running.

I think Carson has forgotten himself as much as he seems like he's asleep during the debates.

Not surprised that Christie has latched onto Donald. He's the first but he surely won't be the last. I expect many more of them to eat their words and kiss Donald's ass in hopes of landing a job in his Cabinet if he was to win.

All I know is that Hilary or Bernie better win come Nov b/c I am packing up and leaving if Donald wins. At this point, I think the two need to grin and bear it and run on a joint ticket b/c it might take both of them to defeat Donald. The Castro brother who is rumored to be Hilary's running mate can take a position as Secretary of State and be groomed from there IMO.

You really think so? Two older people on the democratic ticket would not be a good look IMO. I think Hillary needs a younger man on the ticket so I'm 100% behind having Castro as the VP.

Rubio did come across petty and childish yesterday.

Plus is there any advantage to giving Donald the word "socialist" to throw around? I think Bernie is a rational, decent guy and he will campaign for Hillary and bring many of his supporters around without being the VP.

It's interesting to see Trump and Rubio trying to emasculate each other. I think someone in the Rubio campaign is actively advising him that they need to bring Trump down in that way and that's where the whole "pants wetting" thing is coming from.  It's like the whole Republican nomination process has come down to who has the biggest d*ck.

The NYT covers the GOP's desperation.

What a surprise that Marco was eager and desperate and unable to read a room. He obviously had no idea how much Christie hates him.

Nice to see how two-faced LePage is. You can thank third-party morons in Maine for giving us him.

Romney actually did handle this right. He seems to be better behind the scenes than he was as a candidate.

And the media will still give him a wet kiss, because they won't think it's going to affect them...

Nothin'ButAttitude-  That's why I'm horrified when so many Republicans are saying they'll get behind Trump if (when) he wins. They would really rather see someone with Trump's dangerous ideas in there than HRC. Was it Jeb who said HRC would be better? If so, I can at least respect him for that.

I think some in the media just love the drama and the ratings right now. I mostly watch CNN and I think Wolf Blitzer is especially guilty of this. Some of the online bloggers like Ezra Klein see the danger.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jeb was the one that said that. I can see him bitterly backing HRC over Trump. I give Bush that; he has not been a Trump fan for day one and has expressed he would not like to see him win.

The Republicans just want a win but once Donald is power, they won't be able to control him. He'll be all over the place. Nothing will really get done then.

I think a lot of the media loves the drama too, but as you said, many of them see the danger that Donald could bring if he is elected. That man is a menace to society.

The media absolutely loves the drama and the ratings, which is why they chase Trump. But most of them (and that does include cable news) also know he is incredibly dangerous, which is why they've pushed Rubio so hard - they think he's the last hope. It's a symbiotic and contradictory relationship they have with Trump, but that's the way the media has been for a long time.

The Republican establishment is not behind Trump and does not want him to win. The article above indicates that, though it was obvious before. They know he will destroy them, but due to the party and base they have created they cannot control him or it.

Hiring at least 200 paid staff and spending almost $2M in SC alone looks an awful lot like trying.

I guess - I meant in recent weeks. It seemed like he'd handwaved it a while back.
