Members MTSRocks
Yep, he's dying. From TVGuide 2009 spoilers! A core character will have a "stunning death".
Members Queen
Wow. I have such a problem with that. WHY kill him? I can't really be too mad if Diamont chose to leave because it was his decision. But killing him? I'm upset about that.
Members rangethatrover
I would be happy to boink Don Diamont to death if Lauren passes!
Members BadZoe
Yes, that is what they should do. And this time maybe Nikki won't help her try and hide the body.

Members DaytimeFan
Nah, that feud is over. Diamont quit, MAB wants to do something kinda big...hopefully he dies in the sack...why not with both Sharon and Lauren? Really ramp it up?! Members miajere
There's always a story for Brad- you would think tptb would have learned from John Abbott.
Members MarkH
I have lamented Diamont's ouster as much as anyone. But...Brad Carlton is NO John Abbott. Not remotely in the same league.
Administrator Toups Posted December 2, 2008 Administrator Share Posted December 2, 2008 I think it's a mistake to kill off Brad because he has so much history with so many characters. For example, Brad at the stockholders meeting. He didn't do much but whenever the camera panned to him looking at Jack and smiling, there was a sense of history there. I immediately thought of the takeover storyline back in 1999(?). When you get rid of a longtime character like this, you don't get these little moments. Brad is a great supporting character who can add layers to scene by just being there.
Members Heyou
EXACTLY!! Instead, we will be stuck with newbies who don't know their character's father's name from an uncle.
Members miajere
He's apart of the show, its fabric. If he's going to go missing it better not be some push off a cliff...Let him leave town, but there's no need to kill him. Not even for an Emmy worthy funeral scene. Members BadZoe
Lauren and Sharon are currently in too much of a bitch fest to wind up in bed together. Maybe they will have a cat fight and Brad will walk in and have a heart attack.
Members Chris B
OMG, if Brad died in the sack with Sharon's thighs around his neck that would be classic and so Bill Bell. What I hate is that I totally think Traci could be a force in Genoa City and I wanted Brad and Traci back together. Then Colleen.
Members denniel
The Y&R editor over there talked to her sources on the set. Word came back that he quit and was not fired. He is also supposed to be sticking around for a few months. Sounds like his exit will happen during sweeps.
