There is an interview with Rebecca Budig on soapnet's website that mentions that she is indeed leaving the show, that she will leave in the spring and that she feels that Pratt has written a great exit storyline for her.

Here is the link to the interview.

In the spring? Somehow I thought it would be sooner. I hope this doesn't mean months of Rylee.

Spring!?

If she started airing in January wouldn't her contract expire in December? So is she staying on longer as a favor to "Bri-Bri"?

And if she's going to be around that long she really should not have spilled the beans so early because there's no point in investing in the next several months of story Greenlee is involved in.

She said Early Spring which happens the third week of March so she will probably be gone that month

She probably gave them an extra two months to wrap the story. It will definitely be interesting to see how they write the exit. I am glad it is an exit and no plans for a recast... right now anyway. I would certainly hope they learned their lesson from the disaster that shall remain nameless.....

They should kill Greenlee off in a very dramatic death and then give her good funeral where everyone comes together. Rebecca is never coming back and they won't recast again, so what do they have to loose?

Never say never, she'll probably return if there's another writer's strike that disturbs pilot season ;)

I don't think AMC should have gotten rid of the recast they had before.

Sabine wasn't exactly the best actress, but she did okay in the Greenlee role. I just feel for whatever poor girl they inevitably put in the Greenlee role whenever Ms. Budig deins to make another fleeting visit to Pine Valley when work is hard to come by.

Please don't tease with a Cam exit, my dream of dreams.

I can't help it and am still one of Rebecca's bitches, I guess. I don't want her to go at all but am glad it's the Spring. Except if it's with Ryan the whole time....Not easy.
