I guess it didn't help that this was when Cheers was starting to become hugely popular.

LA Law was such a soapy show - I wonder why KL managed to do well against that.

Making my way through Season 7. I'm about halfway through--the show is still very good but, unfortunately, I find it boring (which is worse than it being bad, a lot of the times). I expected so much more from David Paulsen. While I liked Gary blowing up Empire Valley (and it seems like little else could be done to resolve the storyline), I can't help but feel it's not a very big payoff. I have a feeling Peter Dunne would have made this bigger. It's a shame they never brought him back. I'm also not enjoying the slight de-clawing that Abby has suffered, all in the name of giving the men a bigger presence. The few episodes that Abby had very little to do were the worst--that's when you could really, really see her impact on the show.

I truly loved CBS's promos BITD. They were all kinds of awesome.

They hold up well. It's always a surprise to see Knots with these two shows, but I guess it worked.

Mann Rubin, who was the credited writer for my all-time favorite KNOTS episode ("Celebration" -- the one where Ciji Dunne was murdered), has passed away:
