Rebecca needs to go she's highly over-rated and not really a good actress at all.

Personally I hope she bolts. Don't get me wrong, I loved Rebecca on GL and she makes a great Greenlee. So did Sabine. It's no secret Rebecca was less than thrilled with ABC when they did their "Real Greenlee" campaign. Payback's a bitch, Fronsie.

I agree. Greenlee is a totally different character now than when she was with Leo, for example. She was just better written back then. These days, I just FF because she's just so bland. Her and Ryan are bland. Her and Kendall are bland. Her and Zach are bland. Bland, bland, bland. Pass me the salt.

We will know within the next month. If they begin to solidify Rylee coming out of the tornado, then she is staying. Still wishy washy, she's leaving.

I am inclined to believe she'll leave, but who knows. Since Pratt came on she seems to be into things a bit more than she was for much of the spring.

I'd like to disclose first that I do not watch AMC and never have. But when they started showing those "The Real Greenlee returns" promos all over I went ape. i have NEVER seen a re-cast treated so poorly and graceless. A woman was just fired and the network is trumping it up like Christmas! And even if she was HORRIBLE - just get rid of her and do a return s/l like all the soaps do WITHOUT demeaning the former actress. That girl Sabine will probably never do any more significant work because of this. Not saying she was a good or bad actress - but being humilated like that - and it had to be excruciating - does something to an actor's confidence and esteem. Her friends and family had to all watch those promos and see the network heralding that she got fired. Was her Greenlee "the fake Greenlee"? And if she was so bad TPTB should have let her go after 2 or 4 months - not wait a whole year!

So having said that - i think it would be precise karma if the "Real Greenlee" flops and is gone within a year of her "fantastic" return. Oh - and I even signed that petiiton for SS - i never do the petition thing but to this day her treatment still burns me up. Can you tell? And i have nothing against Rebecca Budig - loved her on GL back in the day and I think she's a good actress. i would love to see her leave AMC and go to a new soap.

Sabine was just as good as most of the other actors on AMC. She won't be getting an Oscar anytime soon, but she wasn't bad either. The ratings didn't go up when RB came back, so I don't think her return made that much of a difference either way. Does that make it a flop? I guess that depends on who you ask. The problem I have with her return is that Greenlee immediately started getting propped way more than she was when SS was in the role. At least that's how I see it and the propping made the character much less interesting to me.

I think that Rebecca is a very talented actress. I don't think she had a botched comeback - so it's possible that maybe it's another ABC actress that's out. I don't watch other soaps, but I've seen comments about someone who it might also possibly be.

I don't think Rebecca came back because she couldn't get any other work because she wasn't talented enough. My opinion is that she came back due to the writers strike, and no new pilots until 09 - hence the one year deal. So to say that Sabine got canned because Rebecca demanded her job back is untrue. I agree with whoever it was that said it (sorry I forgot your username!), Sabine got canned because she wasn't that talented (again IMO).

If Rebecca leaves, I'll be sad - but I would wish her all the best. I hope she doesn't - and right now they're gearing up for a triangle, with two men and one woman - which hasn't happened for Greenlee since the Leo/Jake days. It should be some good material, but we'll have to see where they are headed within the next month, before we can judge if she'll still be around or not. I hope with the new headwriter - she'll stay!

Sabine was definitely NOT as good as most of the other actors on AMC. As good as a FEW, yes. But not most. Sabine was boring as Greenlee.
