Members Paul Raven
Henry Slesar considered bringing in Jody's mom as a full time character but ABC and or P&G nixed as they thought she would be too old.
Members j swift
Which leads to the question of Jody's age. I know she was a ballerina/tv show co-host before she went to college. So, was she 18 when she came to town? That would make her awfully young to date Gavin, and Kelly, as well as hang out at the VideoDisco. Also, later when she went to college and pledged a sorority didn't anyone mention that she was 3-4 years older than her peers? She was either too young or too old the whole time she lived in Monticello. BTW did anyone pronounce the town like Jefferson's home monte-chello, rather than the ethnocentric soft "c" monte-cello ? Members robbwolff
She was 18 when she arrived in 1980. It’s mentioned on the Edge homepage. TV talk show host? When was that? I have no recollection of that. I recall her dancer phase with Gavin, then acting with Jim. But nothing about a TV show.
Members j swift
When Jody was involved with the Republic of Eden, she had a meeting with Geraldine because she had taken over Kelly's children's show and needed time off to go the party. Both Jody and Nicole were on-air talent at the station during that period.
Members robbwolff
Thanks. I had no recollection of that. I lost interest a lot during that Eden nonsense.
Members SoapDope
They do look alike. I thought it was him at first. I wonder if the actor/model ever did soaps ?

Members jam6242
A couple of items I found on newspapers.com, regarding the Julie Jamison Hillyer trial. The first is from the December 2, 1968, The Daily Herald (Provo, Utah), and discusses the episode that aired on November 8, 1968. The second is from the November 22, 1968, San Antonio Express (Ann Flood and Laurence Hugo are pictured). Members danfling
In the picture with Adam, Orin, and Julie, who is the woman? Is it the fourth actress to play Rose Pollock?
Members jam6242
I was wondering the same thing. I hope someone can tell us. ETA: Someone who is very familiar with this story thinks that the older woman was the minister's wife. He thinks this picture must have been from a rehearsal. Adam's girlfriend at the time, Roxanne Carey (Martha Galphin), was Julie's maid of honor in the aired show.
