August 28, 200817 yr Member Yeah I'm NOT seeing the big deal either. Oh and WHY would Katherine recognize Kate? I know people I knew when I was younger I probably woudn't recognize when they got older. People don't look the same as they did when they were younger most of the time.
August 28, 200817 yr Member OMG.....you guys it's not that big of a deal!! If you like the twist than fine, if you don't than fine...but there is no need for telling one another one is full of crap. You wanna actor bash, than go right ahead (they deserve it) ..but personal attacks against posters for posting their opinions (no matter if they are redundant or not) is ridiculous.
August 28, 200817 yr Member Oh and WHY would Katherine recognize Kate? That's like Neil not recognizing Nate. Yeah I'm NOT seeing the big deal either. The big deal is this isn't Days or GH. This plot driven bullshit serves no purpose. At all.
August 28, 200817 yr Member Yes. She has. THAT is the point. But that doesn't matter to people who've only watched since 2004. DeeeDee, I ask this with utmost respect and without a desire to stir anything up: when was Kate on canvas? I honest to God cannot recall her in any sort of storyline aside from being an infant and being shipped off to boarding school, what did I miss?
August 28, 200817 yr Member when was Kate on canvas? The entire time until she went to boarding school with regular visits thereafter.
August 28, 200817 yr Member The entire time until she went to boarding school with regular visits thereafter. And who played her? Was she a child the whole time? All I recall of early 90s Y&R was Rex and Kay and Rex's death at the hands of Norman, I don't remember Kate at all.
August 28, 200817 yr Member Yeah and we saw Kate HOW MUCH? And we saw Katherine with her HOW MUCH? SO yeah this can work, it's not like Kate was already on the canvas every day
August 28, 200817 yr Member And we saw Katherine with her HOW MUCH? Enough for SHE *and* HER MOTHER to be in KATHERINE'S WILL. This whole thing is a bunch of plot driven garbage.
August 28, 200817 yr Member Just saw it and I think the comic duo of Esther and Chloe is going to be great!!
August 29, 200817 yr Member So funny to me people arguing about a development that hasn't even happened yet. Give it time, it could pay off...or not. Personally, I am guardedly optimisitc about this and hope it leads to something bigger. I like Chloe and I'm glad she's getting the instant family treatment - i just hope that she pays dearly once all is revealed - cause if the gender roles were reversed - people would be fighting mad. To see a guy get bamboozled like this is just so wrong! And it looks like Chloe totally masterminded this whole thing with her GC inside knowlege - no wonder she wasn't worried about about the paternity test, she knew Billy and Cane's DNA would be a match. Sly little witch...
August 29, 200817 yr Member Okay, TMI..but the return of Dina Mergeron/Dina Abbott occurred on my PROM NIGHT in 1983. Yes...sad that I remember Dina's return as being more fun than my prom :-). (That was the one where...lame-o me...wore a white tails because that is what Eric Garrison had worn in April with Ashley...such a dweeb). ANYWAY...do any long-time viewers (apparently most of us have only been watching since 2004) remember Mamie carrying a platter of champagne when she spied Dina???? Oh, this is so fun! I am now officially, 100%, totally in support of this retcon. Totally worth it!
August 29, 200817 yr Member Worst. Decision. Ever. Worse than hiring LML? Worse than the reliquary? Worse than hiring Heinle as Victoria? Worse than hiring CKLily? Worse than hiring TSColleen? Worst decision EVER? Ok.
