Members Cheyenne
She still is, she mention it not too long ago in an interview. Back in the days when she was more active as an actress her family used to tape the show so she could watch it on her free time.
Members Dan
I don't think it was Y&R. Davis was a huge fan of GL and wrote a letter to the show. At the end of the letter, she complimented Lisa Brown (Nola Reardon), saying she "has it." As for others: Roy Rogers and his wife Dale Evans were huge GL fans. Nancy Curlee (former Headwriter) was a fan before she wrote the show.
Administrator Toups Posted July 15, 2008 Administrator Share Posted July 15, 2008 I believe Jim Reilly was a fan of Y&R before he started writing for soaps.....not 100% sure though.
Members Pest Spray
Cary Grant was a DAYS watcher (he wrote Deidre Hall a fan letter). And basing on pics, Gloria Gaynor seems to be a DAYS viewer. Rosie O'Donnell watched AMC.
Members Scotty
And then later on, here would go on do appear on OLTL as gambler Chip Warren. In 1992 (I think), Reba McEntire appeared as herself on OLTL, and I think they made her an old high school sweetheart of Bo. She was also on Luna's radio show as well I believe. And of course, Rosanne had Clint (the Clint Richie version), Bo, and Cord appear in a fantasy sequence of her show in character where they all fought over her. Members Paul Raven
Bette Davis was definitely an ATWT fan.SOD had a series in the 80's interviewing celebs into soaps and MS Davis praised the show and the actors, particularly Kathryn Hays(Kim) Tallulah Bankhead was a fan of EON.Any posters who don't know Tallulah should google her immediately!! Aretha was into Y&R and wanted to make an appearance.Bill Bell suggested a part in the Nina/Molly teen pregnancy story but Aretha wanted something more flashy. Liberace was a Y&R fan and later appeared on AW. Jimmy Carter's mom (can't think of her name)was a big AMC fan
