I like Tammin Sursok's portrayal of Colleen. It's not her fault the way Adrienne Leon was fired and people shouldn't hold it against her.

i dont blame her nor do i not like her because of how AL was fired.

As i ahve said before, i do think shes an okay actress. Just not miscasted. And shes not a Y&R type actress. Thats not a slam against her. But i could see her on B&B or Days or GH.

See, from someone who was a loyal Home and Away viewer during the time Tammin was on (before it basically became CSI: Summer Bay), I can say that she is a Y&R type actress...the material she was given was always really emotionally charged and she always gave it her all and was amazing in the role of Dani Sutherland...I think given the right material on Y&R she would do amazing things.

But Colleen isn't a do-good heroine; she's a flawed one who used to be a bad girl. The bratty Manhattan kid doing pot behind Grandpa Abbott's back? She became Sweet Little Angel when the JT-Colleen relationship got serious, but when they first met he was the Bad Boy and she was the vixenish teen wanting a taste of that.

And when Adrianne Leon came to the role, Colleen returned to her tough(ish) ways. She was Lily's wingman for a while, bitching out the opposition so that Little Miss Perfect didn't have to. She also had it out for Kevin and was determined to ruin his life. And then there was seducing her professor.

LML is the one who couldn't write Colleen as she was, so they dumped the actress deemed to be gaining an egregious five extra pounds, and with Tammin Sursoks arrival, Colleen became sweet, innocent. Almost childlike.

Not blaming Tammin here. Blaming TIIC. However, I still think TS is wrong in the role. Not because she can't do Tough Colleen -- she can, I saw her on Home & Away, too. But because I *loved* Adrianne Leon and still want her back.

-Tony Geary needs to retire or be dropped to recurring status. This is daytime -- not primetime. If you don't want to be in a continuing storyline without having a mandatory 8 year vacation that shuts down that storyline and all of its players, then by all means, live it up in Amsterdam! Just pull a Finola, Rick or Tristan and pop in for a week and then disappear.

ICAM. I didn't even LIKE Dani Sutherland (being a big Kane/Kirsty fan), but TS played the role SO well.

"CSI: Summer Bay"... LMAO! So true.

That's an unpopular opinion? I never watched Y&R but my cousin did. I always thought Sharon & Nick were one of their most popular couples.

Anyway, my unpopular opinions...

Dee Hall is OTT and I do not enjoy her on DOOL.

Carlo (Carly & Lorenzo) on GH were one of my favorite couples.

Lucky & Maxie could be amazing together. They were so hot the first time.

Sheridan & Luis are the closest thing to supercouple Passions would have ever had.

I'm glad Martha Madison & Brandon Beemer were fired.

Jonathan & Tammy were hot. Yep. I said it. Half cousins who never met are hot.

ASJ and Jason Thompson have mad inappropriate chemistry.

The show does look great though!
    • Well, she just said "ladies" on the show but she didn't specify they were fellow actresses. It could have been some of the women behind the scenes of the show. There was a lot in the interview that wasn't clear to me.
    • Now would’ve been a great time to get the next A plot going, versus Bill and Katie and Steffy and Liam rehashing the same BS about Luna we have been hearing for weeks.
    • I feel it could benefit from a focus on one of their three A stories or a solid B plot. But right before the turnover from Guza to Thomson, outside of all things Dani...there's nothing too A story-ish going on. Still entertaining for me, but it's noticeable that there is not a main story with other B/C stories going on. It's just...a bunch of stories going on.    I do hope the build to Winterfest and us actually seeing it THIS month will get things moving again.    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
    • GET THAT HEFFA, NOSY NURSE!!!   I'm sorry to see Smitty and June coming to a middle ground. It seem like that tension would be between them for at least one more story arc. A writing change?   I'm sorry but I love the teen unit of Ty, Samantha, and Jessica (and Rocco, Danny, Charlotte over on GH which is what today is reminding me of). I'm a sucker for soap teens. lol.
    • I really hope Laura doesn’t get reelected. She doesn’t deserve it. Imagine her campaign staff, freaking out at the Metro Court as election results come in while she’s hanging out with Sonny.
    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? Is it just me or did they never even say the name of this soap opera? Days wasn't new in 1973 and there was no "Jack" with three daughters on The Young and the Restless. What soap are they talking about? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
